If you don't know the lineage of your recordings, run a spectral analysis to determine if the recording has ever been encoded in a lossy format. So far as I know, any lossy-sourced material I have is marked as such (and it's only a couple of things).

Hello! I'm currently trading mostly in CD-Rs, but feel free to pitch a tape trade anyway. The artists I'm most interested in are: Groovechild, Thanks to Gravity, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Velvet Underground, Moe Tucker, Frank Zappa, Dreadnaught, John Cale, Iggy Pop/Stooges, Sinéad O'Connor, and R.E.M. I'm also interested in many other Seacoast NH bands besides the ones listed above, so if you have something let me know (Percy Hill, Heavens to Murgatroid, Mr. Vertigo, The Screen, etc).
If you're new to trading, I'll do a "blanks & postage" if I have time.
A bunch of my discs are transferred as "single track" - for example, all 45 minutes of side one of a tape would be a single track. I don't care if you send discs done this way (who plays these shows on random, anyway?), but if you want to know if your picks are done that way, just ask. I might be able to track them before I burn them.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE IF ANY OF YOUR DISCS ARE TRACK AT ONCE! All shows that I have which are done this way are marked as "TAO" on this site (and there's not very many of them, thank goodness).
