*this page hasn't been updated in a VERY long time...sorry. BUT I did add some pictures recently. (like in 1999)
This section is a tribute to one of my favorite Canadian bands, MOIST!!! I think they have a unique
sound and incredible lyrics. In the last 3 years, I’ve
seen them in person about 10 times. 5 or 6 times were concerts, one time it was a
special one hour interview concert they were doing at Musique
Plus (French version of MTV or Much Music). I saw them 2 times
after interviews at Musique Plus (I met them and got their autographs!!!)
Then I saw a mini-concert in a music store and after they did
an autograph session.Anyways, I consider myself very lucky because they
live in my town-Montreal!I know many people that have seen them
around the down town area and in the subways. I even saw Kevin eating in a restaurant on St-Laurent once, but I didn't go up to her cause he was with his girlfriend or wife...I don't know. Each time I saw
them live, I took pictures of them. I actually have a lot of very good ones. I will be adding more as soon as I have access to a scanner, cause I have at least 50 really good ones.
If you go to our hotties section, you can see THE BEST picture of David Usher (the singer) that I ever took. It’s a really good close up. (By the way I'm not a teenybopper that listens to Moist only because David is hot. I couldn't care less about his looks) In conclusion I’d like to say that all the Moist guys are really nice. Especially Jeff, he’s my favorite! (the bassist). By the way, David Usher put out a solo album on March 17th 1998. The first single is called "Forest Fire". Although it is very different from what he does with Moist, it is an excellent album. I would say it sounds like a mix of classical guitar and techno music. David explores the soft sides of his voice. The firts time you hear the album, you might think it's weird but eventually it grows on you very well. All the Moist guys helped Dave with this album. (Paul plays bass on one track!) The title of the album is "Little Songs". The original title was supposed to be "Little Songs to Fuck to" but it got censored by the CRTC of course. I’ve also heard rumors that Moist will be recording their 3rd album this summer.

It was on November 7th, 1996, Just before the concert they played with Neil Young.) Moist 3 (The first one on this page is from Nov. 7th also, and the one on the bottom with me and Kevin was taken on July 11th, 1997 behind the old Musique+ studios.) Moist 4 (The pics of David and Mark were taken at the rock fest also and the one of Paul smoking was taken on July 11th also. (my friend has that cigarette! He gave it to us before going in. And we actually smoked some of it! But he felt really bad about smoking it in public cause he said he doesn't want to give bad influences! Isn't he nice?!) Moist 5 More Paul! Taken at the En-Ligne show at Musique Plus. Some time in 1997. Moist 6 Paul again! July 11th, 1997 Moist 7 David Usher in the crowd at the 97 Rock Fest.
