* In 1998, Ian finished work on his 10-song solo album, "Spirit-Light-Speed". Produced by Chris Goss.

* Album was collaborated with Chris Goss (Masters of Reality), and John Roome (Witchmen).

* It was recorded at Goss' Monkey Studios (Palm Springs, Calif.), which was a former porn-studio.[<--OH YEAH!]

* Scott Garrett plays drums on the only song that features live drums ('It's Over'). John Roome (worked with Orb) did samples and loops that did the drumming on the rest of the album.

* It's more electonia than it is Cult/'Barbarians, but it's still good.

* Released June 20, 2000; which is, like, 2 years over-due! But worth the wait.

* Originaly called "Transcendental Youth Cult", then changed to "Natural Born Geurilla" and now "Spirit-Light-Speed". Here's the song list from it:

  1. Back on Earth
  2. Hi Time Amplifier
  3. Devil's mouth
  4. Tonight (Illuminated)
  5. Metaphysical Pistol
  6. The Witch (Slt. return)
  7. It's over
  8. El Che/Wild like a Horse
  9. Tyger
  10. Shambala (R.F.L)

All songs written by Ian Astbury except: High Time Amplifier, Tyger & Shambala (R.F.L) written by Astbury/Gross. The Witch (Slt Return) written by Astbury/Duffy (of course).

On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 'GREAT'!!
