Why all these lists? I know what I want! I can use a search engine! I can go straight to amazon!
Well, perhaps you do, perhaps you can, perhaps you have simple needs, perhaps you'll get lucky...
What I've found is that online or "R/T," often people are desperately looking for something, it's on the tip of their tongue, they EVEN think they know the letter it starts with (our mind's alphabetical filing system)... but then they draw a blank, they need a memory jogger.
Well, for memory jogging, you've come to the right place. I've been a list maker for ages, and a music collector for about as long. Combine that with the fact that I'm an Internet junkie, and of course, there has to be links.
If you know what you want, click on the name, and from that page, click on the most appropriate link - to buy or explore at one of the music stores; to visit the artist's website or a fan's homepage (these are examples of where "I can use a search engine" may not matter - I've found that many artist's sites and some of the best other pages don't use metatags effectively, or get caught up in frames and flash in a way that gets them buried dozens of pages down in a search engine.)
And sure you can go direct to a music store site, but you're here now, so why not use MY link? It doesn't cost you any more, and it helps me, while I try to help you!
Use my lists and you've got still more: links to music downloads by the artist, from a safe, reliable source; links to posters and collectibles of the artist (if these are of interest, I saved you yet more searching!); list of my personal collection of the artists' music (if any) - okay, MY opportunity to make yet another list, but having bought the music, you have an endorsement, even without a review!
On a relatively few, but increasing number of artists, there is also my own review of their music, and / or some of my own personal photographs of the artist (for these, there will also be a link to my dotphoto page where you can purchase high resolution prints of my photos.)
