'I' am yin and yang in conflict and in unity that is fought over. 'I' am the five elements, generating each other, yet bordering on destruction. 'I' am the original breath which brings the elements and the forces of ying and yang to be - the ch'i or energy which starts off the process. 'I' am a tiny part of the universe; 'I' am the universe. 'I' am the result of what has gone on before; 'I' am the cause of all that will come after. Through 'me', all life is sustained, or through 'me' all life is threatened. 'I' am both supplicant and controlled; both penitent and creator.
