MUSIC TO GET YOUR TEETH INTO

Paul McCartney, 2000Sir Paul McCartney has got his teeth into a new recording role - by munching celery on a new track by Wlesh act Super Furry Animals.

The former Beatle joined the string section to chomp along to one of the tracks on the band's new album Rings Around The World.

Sir Paul has teamed up with the band before. Last year they worked together on a track for his Liverpool Sound Collage featuring out-takes from Beatles recording sessions.

The music legend has also used his vege-chomping skills on a record before. He chewed his way through the Beach Boys' "Vegetables" from their Smiley Smile album, which Sir Paul co-produced.
