We weren't supposed to of been at this show or the next but because of the cancelled 8 shows in the uk we were in serious need of a show!! So we jumped on an plane & away we went....

On the way we suddenly realized that apart from not having tix we didnt even know where in Brussels we were going. So when we got off the plane we had to ask at the info place if any one knew where Meatloaf was playing LOL... This was a bit of an ordeal to say the least... We had a lot of trouble finding out & getting people to understand us. Eventually we found out that it wasn't even in Brussels but out side in a place called Leuven. We got in a taxi which took us to the venue as by now time was getting on. Arriving with all our luggage LOl...

We didn't have a support band tonight as Picture house got delayed on the Ferry crossing....... Much to our dissapointment.

The show started with the usual distractions of something going wrong. We still hadn't seen the smoke at the sound desk yet....

Home by now was first as normal, although Meats voice was sounding a bit shaky for this one. This was followed by the excellent Life is a lemon ~ heres a few pix from this show ~ these are the only ones of this show though as the security were really strict here. They told me if I took any more pix they would take the camera off me...

Dead ringer was next with the usual great intro by the girls etc.. Then came I'd lie for you & Anything for love. Followed by the great  Lawyers guns & money. Then came Rock n roll dreams with Ray on excellent form as always.. This has to be one of my fav parts of Rays. this was followed by Is nothing sacred & Paradise. This has been shortened since the last show we saw...

The band then took they're bow before the accoustic set....

Meat sat down as usual & said Hi to the crowd... & asked for Charlie to bring out his guitar. The crowd cheered for Charlie & Meat said "he loves that bit" To which the crowd chanted Charlie.... Meat then played a few chords on the guitar & said about his folk band & that he wasn't gonna do that tonight!!!! Then he introduced Tom followed by Ray then Damon, John, Pearl saying for those of you who are not aware of this Pearl is my daughter. someone in the crowd shouted out is she free... Meat said that it was Pearls birthday on thurs & then he sang a short "Happy birthday" To which the crowd joined in.. Meat then introduced Kasim.

They then sang Midnight at the lost & found ~ with some great solos from Damon & Tom. After this Meat said "ok a little game ~ Stump the band. I heard someone shout out last train to Clarksville, This isnt easy hang on" Kas then said he knew it a began singing it. This was really great ~ I just wish they had done this more..... Then they done Honky tonk woman which Kas also started.... Patti also sang some of this.. Meat then says that they are gonna do a little peice of a song which was Modern girl. Meat then said lets play stump the band one more time. Meat said he had heard 1999 then Meat & Kas said this is tough. The whole band were trying to give the impression that it hadn't been played before LOL.. Meat then said "Heres a little song called  Two outta three aint bad The crowd joined in for part of this. Next was You took the words. The usual Meat Patti bit was the start again ~  Patti says "Will he starve without me" To which Meat replys " I aint gonna skip a meal for anybody!!!!!" I dont know if i'm just stupid (but if I am so is Lor LOL) but I noticed something for the first time during You took the words when the accoustic set finishes & the band go off stage leaving John & Tom. If you've seen the show you might know what part I mean & if you haven't I'll try to explain. As the stage with Tom & John on moves back Tom stays at the piano but John goes back to the drums. Well this was the first time I'd noticed that the drums were playing on their own!!!! Whats she talking about you may now be asking yourself ....  I said this to Kat & she laughed at me saying is that the first time you've noticed... then she pointed out that it was Johns drum tec who was playing them ( somewhere on one of the future shows there is a pic or two of this as it fascinted me ~ little things please little minds as they say)

After the accoustic set was the usual ending to the show Bat out of hell
