~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Picture house there was a surprise...
Kasims voice came over the tannoy saying " Ladies & Gentlemen bringing you the best in new entertainment We proudly present "The Buskers of Grafton Street" Dublins own
You can see more pictures & read all about them at the link above.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The show started again with the illusion of something going wrong etc.. Although by now we were noticing things that we didn't take in before ~ There was the sound of rain coming through on the backing tape that progressed to thunder & lightning. Eventually the lights go out & Meat manages to get on to the stage without being noticed & sits on the rock.
Meat then starts to sing: Home By Now / No Matter What ~ This was as good as every other night......
After this they go into the intro of: Life Is A Lemon which is one of my favourite parts of the show!!! The waiting for the curtain to drop is terrible.....
DeadRinger ~ This is basically the same each night..... but still very good....
I'd Lie For You (and that's the Truth) ~ Another great performance from the band...
After this came: Anything For Love
Followed by the excellent..... Lawyers, Guns and Money
Rock and Roll Dreams ~ was also excellent again ~ I love the way Ray does his bits in this, he really seems to enjoy it......
Is Nothing Sacred ~ A great performance again from all the band ~ loads of dry ice too.......
Then comes: Paradise By the Dashboard Light With Meat tinkering on a very happy looking Tom's piano...
After Paradise the band came down the front for their usual encore....
After the encore the same thing happened as the other nights where Meat gets Charlie to bring on his guitar. Then introduces the band as they all come on individually Meat & Kasim do an excert from: Stayin' Alive ~ which was really good........
Then comes the great accoustic version of: Midnight At the Lost and Found
Followed by an excert from: Modern Girl ~with some great vocals from Patti
Honky Tonk Woman ~ has Kas singing on the beginning vocals again, followed by Meat & Patti..
Then comes: Two Outta Three Ain't Bad
Followed by Pearls Mercedes Benz
Lastly on the accoustic set is: You Took the Words Right Outta My Mouth
Bat Out of Hell is the last song of the show ~ with Bob The Bat appearing at the end for his usual dance..........
Laura was kind enough to let me use her pix on this page & others on my site... They all have her name on so please do not use any of them without her permission ~ thanx......
