After a long journey from Sheffield we were ready for another show......
It was another long day queuing to be at the front, as this was a standing venue. Eventually the doors opened & we made our way quickly to the barrier. LOL...
Picture house were the support band again tonight & they got a great response from the crowd. They always seem to go down better with the standing crowds. I don't know if you've seen Picture house at all on the tour but there's a song that they only do live called "Thanks" They get the audience to join in with this one on the chorus. They sing Thanks & the crowd have to shout back "HEY" Well tonight Dave changed it to suit the Scottish crowd LOL.. He got them to shout "YOUR ASS" He said it is the Scottish translation..........
The thunderstorm was the usual start to the show tonight.... I'm sure this is getting shorter ever time....
HOME BY NOW / NO MATTER WHAT was first
Followed by LIFE IS A LEMON which was as great as always ~ Pearls hair was back to being curly again tonight........
Also I got some pix of Brian Filmer doing his bit for the UK fan club by taking pix in the pit along with the other photographers.....
next came DEAD RINGER, followed by I'D LIE FOR YOU then ANYTHING FOR LOVE......
LAWYERS GUNS & MONEY was as always my favourite of the evening....
Followed by ROCK N ROLL DREAMS
IS NOTHING SACRED was next
Meat & Patti then gave a great performance of PARADISE......
The band then took they're usual bows before leaving Meat alone on the stage.....
Meat then sat down & said his usual thank you's for those who were so patient etc....
Someone in the crowd shouted out & Meat said: "You can scream all you like I can't hear a fucking word you're saying, Write me a letter & mail it & when I get it I'll come back & talk to you"
"Listen this is what i'm gonna do ~ Charlie, Charlie can you please bring me my guitar. Charlies originally from Scotland. Why did you leave Charlie? Why did you leave Scotland? I didn't understand it.... "

16 TONS was first on the accoustic set again....
HONKY TONK WOMAN was next with Kas singing the first part..... followed by Patti......

Meat then said "Its your turn, Stand up" Pearl then stands up.
"Am I a sex god or what? That is my daughter..... & she looks exactly like me ~ ok you can sit down now i'm through with my humour, its my fucking little joke ok!!! Meat then does his disclaimer about kids ~ "Its ok at school but not at home" etc......
"Alright Pearl hit me" I LOVE ROCK N ROLL
