Getting here was a really tiring journey ~ Düsseldorf to Magdeburg is a about 450 miles. We decided to do it by train ~ on the way there this took us about 6 hrs all in all. By the time we got to the venue it was nearly time for the doors to open. There wasn't to many people waiting which was good as that meant we could still get to go to the front!
There was still one problem to overcome though ~ we only had English money to buy the tix..... In the rush to get here we didn't have time to change it up in Düsseldorf. Firstly we tried the box office & they wouldn't accept English money, then we tried using my visa card but they wouldn't accept that either ~ aghhhh desperation was setting in here. LOl... Eventually we managed to get some money changed up by a few different people ( thanx if any of you are reading this you know who you are ~ You're our saviours, As always......)
Now there was another problem ~ the doors had opened in the meantime.... Luckily for us "Picture house" hadn't finished their sound check yet... Thanx Picture House ~ You've saved us a few times like this LOL... When this happens the security make you wait out side the main doors to the hall. Which gives you a chance to get nearer the front!!! Eventually they let us in & we made one mad dash to get to the front ~ It worked to ~ we ended up centre left ( Just in front of Kas) There were a few changes to the stage as it was a much smaller venue than any of the others. Straight away we noticed that there was no backdrop & every thing was more closer together on the stage. Also some of the lighting that sits on the sides of the stage were missing. I did get a sneak preview of Meat standing at the side of the stage though ~ Here's the pic ~
