SEPT.1,... YEAH! My hubby came home last night!He was pretty tired when he had to get up and go to work today.Oh well he'll just have to take anap when he gets home.My stepmom came by early this morning with my sis.Then as soon as they left my phone started ringing,I ended up talkin with my other sis forever ,then my girlfriend called right after that ,so needless to say I am still in my jammies and it's already 11:30! My days shot! If I don't get goin right away I lose my motivation.Heck I'm ready for a nap now! I really need to get in there and clean my daughters room.It's baaaad! I figured once she started back to school I could sneak in there and organize it ( she won't let me touch her room when she's home)She's a little packrat! Papers papers everywhere!! Oh well for some Good News..My Emily also called this morning also and she came up with a plan.Instead of Nick giving up his good job ( he has benefits and is about to get promoted even) and moving up there where it's really expensive, she'll go ahead and finish the year up there and just fly down here every other month ( it's only $80 round trip)and then this next summer she'll transfer her credits down here and her and Nick can get an apartment together.He can stay with Stater Bros and still go to college with her parttime ( he doesn't start his classes till December anyway) plus she'll work parttime.I like this plan alot better then Nick moving up there! Emilys coming back next week for a few days already. Oh man I really need to get goin here,my daughter will be home in about 2 hours and I want to have her room done by then!I'll e-mail ya later K about the barbeque sunday that Anns having.I hope your day is better than mine!~peace~
SEPT 2,... My girlfriend just left, and BOY does she have alotta lotta goin on in her life right now! Good luck D. I was going to go to my sis' house today but after listenin to my friend I'm feelin kinda drained! jk LOL Glad I could be here for her. Actually it was nice havin her here cuz she helped me decorate my bathroom.It was so blah! I think I'll just stay home and work on my laundry. I think I'm gonna have a tough time stickin to my diet today, I'm feelin kinda emotional ( hmmmm....probably cuz Nick and I just had a little spat) Whatever the reason,I just don't handle stress real well.There's just gotta be some chocolate in this house somewheres!!! SEPT. 3,...Good Morning! Don't ya just love this weather? I actually had to turn the heater on this morning! Well Nick took off on his little road trip this mornin around 6:00 am.At least he got a good nights rest.All I can do is pray everything goes ok for him.Brian did pick up my new verticals yesterday and put them up last night.It's soo good to have some privacy.That window faced my neighbors house and I know they could see everything going on over here.Show's over people! I had a house full of little girls too yesterday.Noisey little things! They were practicing for some upcoming school thing.Britts in a little group called " Multiplicity" they are actually very good.They do song and dance routines for all the talent shows and school programs.Although sometimes Britt likes to do a solo routine.She amazes me! I don't know where she got her voice, but it wasn't from me! I tease my niece Val all the time and tell her she inherited my singing voice instead! lol Thank god she can dance! Have you ever noticed though that girls who can sing, sing ALL the time! In the car, at the store, late at night when everyone else is trying to sleep! Britt drives her brothers INSANE!! I try to encourage her though since I never could sing.My boys both have ok singing voices, but not like Britt.She has a real strong voice.I'd like to get her proffessional singing lessons.But right now she's more interested in sports, and Basketball is coming up.Oh my little "Tom Boy" I like your new page too Kel. I didn't realize you were so limited though on webtv. Find out if you can use html and then I can just send you all the codes for the different graphics and such. I kinda get carried away working on my website.It's turned into a hobbie of mine.I loved that Dear God poem I found! SEPT 4,... I GOT NO KII-IIDS , I GOT NO KII-IIDS !! Britt spent the night with Amanda, Brandon went to Ryans and Nick's up in S.F. That hardly ever happens where they are all gone at once! So what fun, exciting things do you think we have planned for today?! Well for starters, Brians going to change his brakes! Then I am going to clean the house,and as if that wasn't enough, we're gonna work on the yard together!! Woo- hoo!! Can one person handle all this excitement? Oh well tomorrow should be fun I hope. I guess my niece Jenny and her new boyfriend will be at our family barbeque, plus my nephew Bruce should be in to nite from Omaha so he'll be there.Last night we watched "Message In A Bottle" Thats a double hanky movie!and then went out for ice cream ( yeah I KNOW, I really needed that!) Yesterday I stopped by my sisters house and what a difference in her mood! She was totally happy and upbeat.I guess ever since she wrote that 5 page letter ( it was therapeutic for her) she feels a lot better.So it was really nice visiting with her.Then my aunt came by who I also hadn't seen in 2 weeks ( I'm bad )and we had a nice visit plus my buddy D showed up and we just had a regular Ho-Down! (Thats ho not hoe) at least thats what we call it when we're discussing our hubbies! LOL Well gotta get started on the old house, check back later I'm sure I'll be on again later I'll be so bored!~peace~
5:00 pm Udate... Can you believe I almost forgot what this weekend was? Everyone knows Labor Day weekend means SALES !! What a dunce! After Brian and I finished our chores we headed out to the Cabazon outlets. Actually I didn't buy all that much, but I did get a couple of books on Feng Shui ( I'm really into that now ,below is a brief description of Fen Shui)and a few other small things.Then we ate lunch at the food court outside since the weather was so nice (clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls and iced cappucino,none of which is allowed on my Dr. Atkins diet thank you!). I think we'll barbeque for dinner tonite since it's so awesome out.I'm cooking a ton of chicken for tomorrow, and my stepmom is making ribs.Yummy! I guess I'll go read my books.My daughter is bugging me to let her put some red streaks in the front of her hair, I guess It won't hurt anything.

SEPT 6,.. Well my son made it home yesterday safe and sound from S.F. Emily called right after he left and told me how awesome it was.She was working on a computer in the library ( writting Nick a letter) when she looked up and saw Nick walking across the room towards her!Nick said her face turned pale white and then she jumped up and ran to him! Ahhh..young love!They did everything,saw everything and he still made it home in time to go to work. Good boy! Our family get together turned out really nice but would have been better if EVERYONE was there.Of course I won't mention any names R. and K. lol I'm expecting company this morning so I need to pick up my house.K. I really like the butterflies! Nice touch! Sorry I missed yesterday but I was so busy trying to get ready for the barbeque and chasing my kids down that I didn't get a chance to post. SEPT 7,.. It's 2:00 pm and my kids should be home any minute so I'll make this short.My buddy D. came over this morning for some cinnamon coffee before she went to help out in her daughters class ( what a good mommy!) She had an awesome weekend,even better than mine! I'm jealous,sounds like she had a real blast!Next time! Mine was ok though really.Just not as fun as hers!! lol Anyway I went over to my sisters house to see her sons new computer.It's so cool.He's all hooked up to aol and everthing so my sis is really jazzed.Now we can icq back n forth. So far it's been a pretty cool day.My aunt was also there and she is always fun to talk to.Very interesting.She's gonna lend me some book on philosophy that I can't wait to read.She's also into Feng Shui so we can learn about it together.I love days like this, where my house is all clean, my dinner is marinating,(chicken) the weather is beautiful and I even got out of the house for awhile and enjoyed some stimulating adult conversation.I got my incense burning, the house smells good and I feel very peaceful and happy, but... that will all end in a moment when my kids walk in the door!!! LOL OH GOODY! HERE COMES THE LITTLE DARLINS NOW! C-YA!
SEPT 8,.. Howdy all! just a quick post today cuz I have people comin over and I need to get dressed! I don't have anything really special planned today, just need to take my son to the comp. store and run afew small errands.Hopefully I'll get a chance to work on this new program my nephew is bringing by this morning.Other than that it should be a relatively uneventful day.Hope everyone has a funner day than me!What to make for dinner?! I need some new ideas!Oh by the way isn't someones anniversary coming up like real soon?!Hmmmm.....I know mine is the 17th (hint hint!) but I'M JUST SURE SOMEONE ELSES IS COMING UP FIRST!! ~PEACE~
SEPT 10,..Gawd, these mornings are geting earlier and earlier!! My hubby left for work before 5 am this mornin poor thing.I love him so much,he's such a hard working guy.I would like to do something really special for him I just don't know what. Any ideas people? I have to go out to the mall today with my aunt and my friend maybe I'll get an idea out there.My aunt said that my dieting success thus far has inspired her to go on one ( I still have 50 to go though! Ughh!)So we're going to Vitamin World to get some vitamins and such to help boost her energy level first.I haven'tbeen taking mine for awhile cuz I was out, and let me tell you it really makes a difference.Had company from mornin til night yesterday but it was ok because my house was clean and I had nowhere to go anyway.Don't ya just hate days when you're house is just wiped and EVERYBODY DECIDES TO COME OVER?!! That usually happens to me! The days when my house is totally clean and nice no one drops by!I have another new book to suggest.It's mainly for people over 35.Our society seems to think that once you turn 30 your youth is gone and now you are middle aged cuz the average person only lives to be in their 60's.So you are made to feel like the "better" part of your life is over and all you have to look forward to is watching your body run down hill and working towards retirement! Society seems to suggest that we should be where we want to be in life by 35.But thats NOT true! Alot of people 35 and over still have no idea what they even want to do with their life yet and thats ok!The book is titled" It's only Too Late If You Don't Start Now!" I highly recomend it! It dispels alot of myths about turning 30! They say turning 30 is the hardest for women ( cuz we're only considered "young" by men anyway if we're in our 20's, thats why most women are eternally 29) but for men it's turning 40 that is tough because it's ok for men to age! They get better looking with age, we of course just get older!!! This book lets you know that life doesn't even begin until you're almost 40 because thats when we finally get our heads together! Hopefully by then we'll have gained wisdom and knowledge and our acceptance of ourselves will no longer depend on our desirability to the opposite sex! Although we most deffinately can still be desirable , our whole lives will no longer revolve around our physical beauty but rather our inner beauty, our intelligence, our strength and our compassion for each other.Oh well I could just read you the whole book here but I'll let you all check it out for yourselves!Have a good day everyone!
SEPT 11,..11:15 Brian and I just finished the yard work.It took us 2 hours cuz we let it go so long, but it looks really nice now!We wanted to get out there before it got too hot.Now I'm ready to go back to bed! Had a nice day yesterday.Took my daughter to watch *NSYNC on pay per view at her grandparents house.They made a little party out of it for all the granddaughters.Had pizza and pop.My sis inlaw and my girlfriend ( she brought her daughter) were also there, so we were able to visit while the girls watched the concert.That was fun.Hey K. I looked up that Green Magma and it says it is supposed to give you energy right away.Like within an hour! Let me know how you like cuz I'M ALWAYS LOOKIN FOR SOMETHING TO BOOST MY ENERGY LEVEL!! My boys came home at midnight last night which is actually pretty early for them so I didn't have to wait up too long.Brandon said the party was a blast.It was an "80's" party.He was bummed that Vance didn't show.I guess he figured I would tell him about it and somebody would bring him. SEPT 12,..11:30... My girlfriend D. just left ,she brought me over a lowcarb breakfast.So far todays goin pretty good.I got my house clean and I've had my shower and it's not even noon.Thats really good for me! I still need to do laundry though.I finished this great book that I bought friday called "Things I Wish I'd Known Sooner" by a mother of 12! She had some great advice on how to run a household smoothly.One piece of advice I really liked was that ,a home is not just a thing to be looked at.It is not something we create to impress others.Your home is an extension of your personality.A laboratory for learning.After all a big percentage of our childrens life will be spent at home.If we are more concerned with keeping it "looking clean" rather than making it a happy, warm environment where our families feel comfortable and secure,it will just be an object to look at, not a "true home". My mother,god rest her soul, grew up durring the depression so to her, her house was a status symbol.She wanted people to look at her house and go"Wow how beautiful" she is really lucky to live in that house! But we were miserable, because we weren't allowed to "live" in our house,it was just for show! I hope I've learned better than that.Your house should be clean of course, but not to the extent that it looks more like a model home than a place where a family is being raised. I don't think I'm in any danger of that! LOL ~peace~
SEPT 14,..Good morning!Sorry I didn't post yesterday but I was actually out of the house! Went to my friends (she wanted to show off the roses her hubby bought her) then stopped by my sis' house for awhile and her son ended up taking us both to lunch.Thanks Bruce!What a good nephew! We were all gonna go to the movies but it got to be to late for me so I had to skip it but my son went with them instead.I ended up stayin home and trying to clean up but then my stepmom and other sis came by which was fine, cuz who wants to do housework anyway?! Then my sis and her son stopped in to visit after the movies.They said it was good I didn't go cuz the movie stunk!I watched a video later instead called "EDTV" cute movie.I have afew errands to run today but hopefully I'll have a quiet day where I can stay in and get some laundry done! Maybe I'll hang a do not disturb sign on the front door!Have a good day everyone
SEPT 17,... Today is our 17th wedding anniversary! So I got up at 4 am and made my hubby breakfast.This weekend we rented this really cute little cabin in the mountains at this place that has "themed" cabins.Ya know, 1 for Tarzan and Jane,Robin Hood and Marrion, like that.Should be fun!I want to do something special tonite since today is officially our anniversary.My daughter has a sleepover with her cousin and my boys are almost always gone anyway so.... we'll see.Well I have lots to do today so I better get goin! SEPT 18,...One last post before we leave.Had a nice day yesterday even though we are actually celebrating today.Yesterday we had the house to ourselves~smile~ so that was nice! We just mainly bought dinner and rented a video to watch without having to worry about the kids coming in and out a million times!! LOL wE WATCHED "200 Cigarettes" it was cute.My hubby brought me home a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a very sweet card.Today we're gonna go shopping for our anniversary gifts and eat out and then go back and enjoy our cabin!Poor Nick no matter how late he gets home he still gets up and goes to work! He got in around 3 and I woke him up a 6 to be to work at 7!Well see ya all Monday~smile~
SEPT 21,..Skipped a day again. I was busy cleanin yesterday,fun,fun! My sis inlaw stopped by with afriend to show me her new truck.It's beautiful by the way! We had a nice visit and I lost my momentum for cleaning which was fine! Once I sit down it's all over! Oh well it's still here waiting for me.But today will be even funner cuz not only do I get to clean my house,I get to clean my stepmoms neighbors trailor! Woo-wee.Does it get any better?! Oh yeah I get to go to the grocery store too.Top that!! Later...
3:15 UPDATE...Well I did it.I went and cleaned that ladies trailor.Booorrring! Afterwards I went out to lunch with my dad and stepmom.Then I got to go grocery shopping where I ran into my aunt! So I invited her over for coffee and now I get to clean my house.And you thought you're life was exciting!Thanks K. I'M glad you liked my house, but I think it's like you said.We all get sick of our own homes and it's just nice to see someone else's to get some fresh ideas.I thought you're place looked really nice!! Them rose covered candle holders would look awfully nice in my bedroom!!Any way I decided to make October a little more exciting (as if that was possible! ~heavy sarcasm~)So I made a list of goals I want to achieve durring the month.Wether or not I reach these goals is entirely up to me, but I will try!
SEPT.25,...6:00 PM...Had a pretty nice day today.My hubby,me and my daughter all went out to lunch then to see the movie "The Sixth Sense" cool movie by the way!Afterwards we did a little shopping and then of course everybodies favorite...GROCERY SHOPPING!!! We just finished dinner (marinated chicken w/lime,yummy!)and now my hubby is reading his book,I'm on the puter (of course) my daughter is making some arts and crafts thing (she's on restriction so no puter,no phone,no friends),Nick and his friends just left for the night and poor Brandon is trying to figure out where he's gonna go tonite (I mean god forbid he stay home with his parents on a saturday night!)he's been gone the last 3 nights in a row comeon!! I bought a real pretty border for the bathroom so I think I'll go put that up.
SEPT.26,.. I ended up putting up the border print last night and I really like it! Had enough to do my other bathroom as well,so that was cool.All for $2. What a deal! My stepmom and sis came by last night and they we're in a realy good mood since they had won this court case,actually they got it thrown out.So now thats off their backs! I must be pms'ng cuz I'm sooo tired this morning.I got up once already, did some dishes and went back to bed for an hour got up and it's only 10:00 and I'm tired again! Today should be pretty boring .We're just stayin home and doin chores,laundry the yardwork that sorta thing.Maybe if I ever wake up I'll work on my crafts.My daughter wanted to go for a walk last night but I was too lazy so I think we'll do that today.Like maybe take a walk up in Oak Glen and then stop and get an apple pie!
SEPTEMBER.27, Yesterday was a quiet day,if you read my journal for yesterday you could see I was soo tired.Never really snapped out of it either.Was able to get enough energy to clean my house and even did some laundry but that was it! My hubby made me this neat little chest of drawers( just a little taller than a nightstand) anyway he faux painted it and put a marble top on it.It's ver pretty and just the right size to hold all my jewelry and make-up.Thanks honey! So to repay him I made a nice sit down dinner ( like I've said before we don't get to do that often) we even lit candles! The kids always enjoy that.Since I've been lowcarbing I very seldom make a "big" dinner it's usually just meat and a veggie,but last night we had pork chops,rice-a-roni,veggies and warm rolls.And yes I ate 2 of the rolls ,so no getting on the scale today for me! After dinner Brian actually called his sis in Nebraska.They had a nice visit .I really like my sis inlaw.She never had any kids of her own so she really loves my kids.Anyway she's been the only 1 helping their dad out since my mother inlaw passed away 3 months ago,and my hubby just wanted to tell her how much he appreciates what she is doing and to give her some moral support.She was happy to hear from him! Afterwards Brians dad called and he's coming out to visit us in 2-3 weeks.We're looking forward to seeing him but I think it will be a little awkward without Pat.Looks like I'm just gonna be cleanin house today!My buddy D should be back from the river so hopefully I'll get a chance to talk to her.Tomorrow a bunch of my friends(Kristi,Peggy,Patti,Deanna and Jenna) are all going on this turn-around trip to Laughlin!I wanted to go but I offered to stay home and be the designated babysitter since I get to go more places then some of the other ladies.But next time.....I really should check on my aunt today,I hear she's been very sick.Till tomorrow...
SEPTEMBER.30,..Well I thought I'd finally write in my journal today since this will be the last post for SEPT.The last few days have been really busy.Have had alot of company lately.My friend bought me roses for babysitting the other day.How sweet!Plus she brought dinner over for my family.Lasagna, I don't think it was lowcarb though!My aunt and I used my cosmopolitan make-over to find her a new do yesterday.That was fun.My daughter is still on restriction but she has been so good I think I'll let her off tomorrow.Geez, I should restrict her more often! She was way nicer this week than she has been in along time! LOL Tomorrow the new movie "American Beauty " comes out.I hear it's the movie of the year,so we're just gonna have to go see it!My sons Nick and Brandon both want to go with us to see it.Guess it will be a family outting.Today I need to go shopping to get my nephew a gift for his b-day and a friend of ours is getting married so I need a gift for that too.What do you get a 22 yr old? Hmmmm..I'll have to think about that.Maybe I should just take him out to lunch.Naaahh....I'd rather go shopping!!Still haven't come up with any new ideas for dinner! I guess I'll just make everbodies fave.chicken breast wrapped in bacon and stuffed w/cheese.Low carb and easy! Well it's 7:00 am and I want to get outta here early so talk to ya later!~Peace~Yeah!! DEAR GOD So far today, I've done all right. I haven't gossiped. I haven't lost my temper. I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish or overindulgent. I'm very thankful for that. But in a few minutes, God, I'm going to get out of bed; and from then on, I'm probably going to need a lot more help.
