1981: Sam sang with Steve Marriott's band, Blind Drunk, at The Bridge House, Canning Town, East London. This was her first live appearance.

2 July, 1988: Wintershall Charity Gig, Surrey (backing vocals for Gary Brooker)

1 July, 1989: Wintershall Charity Gig, Surrey (backing vocals for Gary Brooker. "Stop!" was performed one of these gigs)

Sam did backing vocals for the Red Balloon Ball at The Dinosaur Room, Natural History Museum, London, on 27 April 1989. This was a charity event for a lung foundation.

30 June, 1991: Jools Holland @ Jysteria 3, London Palladium (Sam sang the duet "Together Again")

Sam appeared for the one-night only West End musical "Leader Of The Pack", at the Duke Of York Theatre, London. This was a musical about songwriter Elly Greenwich. A selection of songs were also performed during a radio interview to promote the show, including "Rock Of Rages" and "Not Too Young To Get Married" (c. 1992)

11 October 1992: Chelsea Arts Ball at the Royal Albert Hall, London (AIDS research fundraiser. Sam sang backing with artists such as Dave Gilmour)

Sam did backup for Dodgy at the 1997 Glastonbury Festival, and at the V97 festival

5 October 1997: Vladivostok, Russia
Sam toured Germany (and Luxembourg) with Jon Lord in May 1999, singing an acoustic version of "Stop" during the encore and a new track called "Breathe In Life". She also sang lead on her 2 tracks from his "Pictured Within" album, "Evening Song" and "Wait A While".
