Sam does backing vocals on the Small Faces album "Seventy-Eight In The Shade" (1978), along with mother Vicki Brown. Just at the tender age of 14, and this was her first paid recording session!

Sam & Vicki Brown do background harmonies for the first Adam Ant solo album "Friend Or Foe" (1982), on track 5, a cover of the Doors' "Hello I Love You".

Sam & Vicki Brown sing backup vocals on the LP "Before I Forget" by Jon Lord, (Harvest SHSP4123, 1982)

Sam toured with Pink Floyd singing backing vocals, and appears on their "Pulse" album (CD: Columbia C2K 67065) & video. Also on the LP "The Division Bell", (CD: Columbia 476581-2) and at the live concert (and video) "Knebworth The Event (Vol. 3)"

Sam & Vicki Brown perform backing vocals on the Jed Ford single "Three Pointed Star" (1983) (with Joe Brown on guitar).

Backup singer on 2 tracks ("You've Lost That Loving Feeling", and "Midnight Moonlight"), from The Firm's album "The Firm" (Atlantic 781239-2, 1985)

Backup on Dave Gilmour's album "About Face" (CBS 465038-2, 5 March 1984)

Sam reportedly sang backup vocals for the Mick Ralph album "Take This" in 1985.

Sam also sang back up for Barclay James Harvest (BJH), with an appearance on a live track, "Poor Man's Moody Blues" on "The Compact Story of Barclay James Harvest" (Polydor 825895-2, 1985).

Sam sings backup vocals for Gary Moore on his album "After the War".

Sam sings backup on Dave Gilmour's set ("Run Like Hell," "Out of the Blue," & "Comfortably Numb) for the 1987 Colombian Volcano Concert (released on video; and on laserdisc in Japan as "Super Rock Aid Vol. 1 - The Columbian Volcano Appeal Concert SFINX SFXL-006).

Sam sings backup on the Jon Astley album "Everyone Loves The Pilot (Except The Crew)" (Atlantic, 81740-2, 1987)

Sam does backing vocals on 3 tracks on The Violet Hour's "The Fire Sermon" album (Sony 468420-2), produced by Pete Brown (circa 1990).

Sam (& Margo Buchanan) sing backup on the Tina Turner track "Paradise Is Here", from Tina's 199x album "Break Every Rule".

Sam sings backup vocals on 3 tracks "Time Is On Our Side", "I'll Always Be Waiting" and "No Hiding Place" on the Vicki Brown album "About Love And Life" (Netherlands, Polygram 847266-2, 1990). The first 2 of these songs were written by Sam Brown and Danny Shogger. Also, the entire album was produced by Sam. Sam is also listed as a general backing singer on Vicki's 1989 album, "Lady Of Time" (RCA 74276). Prior to that, in 1987, Sam wrote a track, "Talking To Myself" for Vicki's self-titled album (RCA 71514, 1987)

Sam sings backing on track 7 "Rainbow" from Zoe's album "Scarlet Red and Blue" (M&G Records/Polydor 511443-2/1/4, 1991)

Sam sings backup vocals on the tracks "The Happy Man" and "Spirit" on the Thomas Lang album "Scallywag Jazz" (Epic EPC-450996-2)

Sam and Vicki Brown appear as backup singers on the album release of The Prince's Trust 10th Anniversary Birthday Party (UK, A&M AMA-3906)

Sam sings backup on the track "Just Another Day" from Jakko M Jakszyz's "Mustard Gas and Roses" (Resurgence RES103CD, 1994)

Sam appears on the Nordoff-Robins "Rock Therapy" charity single, "Reaching Out" in 1996. A TV appearance on "Top Of The Pops" also resulted, with Sam on keyboards and bcking vocals.

Sam does backing vocals on the 1998 Lonnie Donnegan album "Muleskinner Blues"

Sam does a solo track "The Way You Look Tonight", a duet with Jools Holland "June Rose Lane", and backing vocals for "It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry", "Lost Content", "Bloodsucker Blues" & "The Blues Is A Feeling"on the 199x Jools Holland album "Hop The Wag".

Sam sings backing on the track "Strength In You" from the Kim Richley album "Glitter" (1999). [Nothing to do with the Mariah Carey movie of the same name ;-)]

Sam's vocals feature on Christopher Holland's album "Cosmic Harmony Companion" (2000).

Sam appeared on a re-recording of "My Sweet Lord" from George Harrison's February 2001 reissue of "All Things Must Pass".

Tim Isfort Orchestra album: apparently contains 2 duets between Sam Brown & Christian Junk, "Absolute Activity", and "Hearts That Cry".

Jools Holland album, "Sunset Over London", apparently contains several duets with Sam Brown, "I Dig Rhythm And Blues", "Lady Madonna","Introduction To", "Love You And Leave You", "The Seventh Sacrament", & "Let The Good Times Roll".

Backup on the Shane McGowan track "Plaistow Patricia" from the Ian Dury tribute album "Brand New Boots & Panties" (2001)

October 2001: George Harrison recorded a song he co-wrote with his son Dhani called "A Horse To Water", also featuring Jools Holland & Sam Brown.

Sam apparently sings on the Marti Pellow track "New York Vibe" from his "Smile" album (2000). She also sang 2 solo tracks, covers of "Baby I Love You" and "Rock Steady" during Marti Pellow's Girls Night Out teenage cancer charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 5th February, 2002

Sam reportedly produced material for the band D2M, featuring Steve Marriot's daugher Mollie
