What can I say about this band? Andy Pendley (lead guitar & vocals), Gary Lewallen (rhythm guitar, harmonica & vocals) and Don Adams (drums) and their families are real and wonderful people. This band was fun! We played everything from Whiskey Row Bars to the Annual Granite Lake Kite Fly, and I loved every minute of it. In spite of time and distance (Andy now lives in Boise, Idaho; Gary in Gilbert, AZ and Don in Chino Valley, AZ) we are still close friends to this day. That says it all.

Taking A Break

Some highlights along the way: Working with Capitol Records recording artist Lee Dresser at both the Yavapai and Coconino County Fairs. Rehearsals in Andy's garage. Taking the milk truck over Mingus Mountain to Jerome, AZ for a gig at The Spirit Room in the dead of winter. Sharing world class chocolate after the gig at Don's Baskin-Robbins ice cream store. Playing for Gary's wedding. The Hanky Dance! Being there for Andy when Donna passed away. Gary living in a teepee, lol! THE POT-TAY! Where's Lew? (I know these are inside jokes folks, bear with me)

March 30 & April 1, 2001, we all got together for a reunion to celebrate Gary's 50th birthday in Phoenix. It was grand and I love these guys :) Ranger Power!
