The Prescott All-Stars were always under the leadership of Clare Willey, but could be anything from a jazz duo to a six piece rock & roll band depending on the booking. I enjoyed them because I was hired to play bass, guitar, drums or even keyboards on ocassion. It was a great way to work my chops. Clare paid well and we were almost always fed. We played a lot at the Sheraton Hotel and the Love Field Club House and the focus was on casual gigs rather than clubs. Good gigs.
