On Jared's Boat on Lake Travis

Side note:
On the way to Lake Travis, we stopped at Rudy's BBQ in Austin. Bad occurrence - the keys got locked in Jared's truck. The spare keys were in the apt in San Marcos (30 min. away) and they had no key to get in the apt. Jared and Mike drove back to SM, got the manager to unlock the door, and got back to Rudy's an hour later - and we only THOUGHT we were ahead of schedule when we left! Murphy's law, anything that can go wrong, WILL go wrong. What did Brandon and I do while they spent an hour retrieving spare keys? We drank and sat in the boat (still parked and attached to the truck) next to a gas pump at Rudy's. By the time we were on the lake (around 1:30 pm), I was very buzzed - it was a great day!

All the boats tied up in front of us (we ended up with a string of 5 or so boats tied up w/ us) Jared, and later Brandon, went floating up on a tube to these boats after we were all a bit drunk. Fun stuff! We were on the lake til around 9:30 pm or so - all I know is, it was dark and I was drunk, tired, and starving.
