Many of you know Cookie, the "acid-tongued" host of the kickass computer game show, "You Don't Know Jack". And do you know something?
I think he's just fabulous.
My interest was first peaked when he appeared on Entertainment Weekly's "It List". If you don't know what that is, too bad, go figure it out yourself, but it is the greatest magazine I've ever read. Anyway, he was on the It List, and their little splurge went something like this:
"IT RIDDLER: Tom Gottlieb AGE 30 WHY HIM? As the voice of acid-tongued Cookie, host of the You Don't Know Jack series, Gottlieb's the digital Don Pardo. WEIRDEST CAREER MOMENT In a chat room, Gottlieb once mentioned he was the man behind Cookie. "The person wrote back:'Go to hell, loser. Cookie is funny and intelligent--you're not'."
And I am NOT claiming I wrote that, it was in the 1999 It List special summer double issue of Entertainemnt Weekly, and I would put who wrote it, but it didn't say, so there *sticks out proverbial tongue*.
Anyways, Cookie (and Tom, of course) is(are?) really cool, so go buy the game if you dont have it, but watch out, it's totally addicting!
