MUZAK!

"My life goes on in endless song...how can I keep from singing?"

"There's a song I like to sing, it's never the same, well it's got a groovy beat but it has no name. When I find that melody it's time out of time, nobody know's that it's mine--
It turns me on"

That first quote perfectly describes me. Music is my life, and anyone I know can tell you that I don't try very hard to keep from singing. The second one is from a 'Coats song..I think it's pretty self explanatory. I love all kinds of music--vocal or instrumental, accomanied or unaccompanied. I love all styles of music--jazz, ska, swing, alternative, a cappella, punk rawk, classical, rock, country, indie, pop...I'm pretty eclectic. I currently do not play any instruments, other than the vocal chords ;) I'm in the Jazz choir The Bellairs.

(My love for music combined with my love for drama segways in there with my love for musical theatre....but there's more about that on the drama page...)
I also love dancing. I'm just sticking it along with music becuase they go hand in hand. I've taken 2 years of Hip-hop, and one of Jazz. Other than that I just had a few "Creative Movements" classes when I was in preschool, which pretty much consisted of running around pretending to be butterflies or faeries.
I love to dance, but unfortunately, my busy schedule this year keeps me from taking dance, but I'll continue to dancing in my spare time!
Being so musically inclined, I naturally know lot's o' musical people. Check out info on my musical friends.

DO IT ACAPELLA!
That is two things. A great a capella compilation, and a direct order! What is this "a capella", you ask? Well, me pork sausage, I'll tell you. It's music without instruments. Yes, music without instruments! And it's REALLY COOL!! Check outThe Coats. They are the best a capella group to ever grace this earth with their smooth vocals and energetic live shows!
They are:

Keith Anderson: This alto moonlighting as a 1st Tenor has talent which, as he has been known to put it, is a grace from God. I love a man whose range goes higher than mine.

Jamie Dieveney: A talented tenor with a gorgeous voice, he arranges most of the music for the group. He's easy on the ears and the eyes if you catch my drift.

Doug Wisness: The bari, and last remaining orignal member. He's the founder and business manager, and sings a wicked a capella rendition of the Beatles' "Come Together".
...and, last but most certaintly not least,

Kerry Dahlen: The bass, known fondly by his fellow coats and his fans as Bass Man. He breaks all bass stereotypes held by me and my choir nerd posse-the kind that spark jokes like,"What do basses use for birth control?" "Their personality". He's a talented and funny guy who returns fan mail! And of course, his likeness to a big shaggy lion endears women to him across the globe;)
