Saturday May 27th. The 2nd best night of my life.
The 1st being my 1st concert. I know what some of u thought, hell I wrote it and I thought that too when I read it.
Good lordy where do I start. First off *N SYNC truly outdid themselves with this concert. I love the fact that each song had a different concept. Well I'll just go thru the concert song by song.
If you haven't been to the concert yet and u dont wanna know what happens, DO NOT read this review. I explain basically every aspect bout it. I suggest u don't cuz its better when u dont know what's gonna happen.
No Strings Attached - 1st song. Now a fav of mine. They came down like they do in the beginning of Bye³ (Bye Bye Bye). When they did that every single move they did was perfect to a tee. The dancing was awesome.
God Must Have Spent.. - Lance did his usual intro. They sang the song and rose up on individual platforms. Lance's didnt work. He was like uhh ok GMHS... but it was really cool.
I Want You Back - The song needs no description nor does the performance. Beautiful just beautiful.
Tearin' Up My Heart - For this one they did a parody to TRL called TNL (Total *NSYNC Live) and they had Ananda Lewis as the "host". The audience got to vote for the next song. It was kinda obvious cuz the choices were Mary Had Little Lamb, 3 Blind Mice, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Tearin' Up My Heart. I'll let u guys guess which one we picked. :Þ
I Drive Myself Crazy - They brought out furniture and Chris was doin his usual speech u know it: "We wanna thank u guys for helping us pack this place. I mean WOW!" He goes since we cant bring u guys to our home in Orlando, we thought we'd bring our house to u so that's where the furniture came in.
Its Gonna Be Me - Justin did his lil beat box thing for like 15 mins before it. I'll admit for a white guy our lil Justy got some skills. It was cute cuz he "challenged" the drummer to a lil showdown. Then they went straight into the song.
Just Got Paid - I love this song! It was cool cuz before they performed they showed them leaving the stage and goin backstage into this very well equipped dressing room with pool tables, tv's, etc.. So they sit down to watch TV and see Lance on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Lance calls them bout the ques they dont know so he polls the audience. We got it right. Lance wins and then they go into Just Got Paid. They had a Klub (yea that's how they wrote club on it) set up on stage with the average drunk girls clubbin in it. I saw Lance and Joey go waaay in there and didnt see em again till they came out. All in all I loved it.
Ok I'm not gonna go thru each and every detail anymore for ur sake and my laziness. If I did this review would be hella long. But I'll keep it short and sweet from here on.
For It Makes Me Ill it began with Justin on stretcher and the other guys were doctors. Then they went straight into the song. JC messed up! OK that was mean but when he did he had a look on his face like Oh My f-ing God. I watched himeven more after that. He sang thru clenched teeth for like 2 seconds then let it slide. But JC is still one hell of a performer.
They came out into the audience for This I Promise You and Sarah swears up and down they looked at her cuz of her new purse. OK some of u may not get that but my friend Sarah is not too big on *N SYNC but was far too excited bout her new purse. I still luv ya gernie!
I am now in love with Digital GetDown. I never thought it was possible but I swear I went thru puberty again. One second I look down then when I look back up I'm like where the hell are they. Then I see JC's ass move up and down in sort of a riding motion. OK. That was sick. I'm sorry to those of u who come to my page that may not have understood that or gotten offended and whatnot but dear lordy that boy can dance! I was talkin to my friend Tamika and we were like if JC just happened to here Back That Azz Up (in my world I prefer Back That Bass Up :Þ) he would be poppin like nobody's business. All i know is that JC has got some serious soul and rhythm. That boy got some black roots in him. I can sense it. All I can say is damn. Damn, damn, damn! (Sorry D another Good Times flashback).
And of course they ended in what else but Bye Bye Bye. I was sad. I'm like damn. No. I dont wanna hear Bye³ cuz that means its over. But I did. And it ended. Although me, Skye, and Sarah didnt move for like 20 mins sayin they'll come back. Once the crew had half the stage down we kinda figured that they werent comin back.
Hold up! Can't forget about Pink and Sisqo. Well Ron Irizarry was there but it was like a 20 minute headache for me. Its mean but i was too excited for *NSYNC anyway. Pink kicks ass! Not only that but her backup dancers are FOINE! I will definitely be buying her album. Sisqo is one helluva man. His performance was just good all around.
This was one helluva concert that I'm still tryin to go to again this summer. I suggest u do everything in ur willpower to go to one my fellow *NSYNC chicas (and chicos). Nose bleed, last row, behind the stage is still worth goin to this concert. These guys are truly great performers and I highly recommend u go go go!! That's it. That was long huh? OK its over. Stay *NSYNC!
