not as good as previous night, but carter rocked and so did dave. bowa was awesome, disappointing that the setlists from both nights were similar. tripping billies rocked as well as two step. jeff koffin, geust saxophoneist, rocked, and I met him numerous times as he paced by my seat after he had finished.

Amazing. It was a great evening weather-wise too. Jones Beach is outdoors, and it was above 90 degrees that day, so down by the water, it was a cool 70. The show was a lot of fun, and full of energy, especially Boyd, he was really jamming. I don't remeber the whole set list, but I do remeber "Ants "Marching". Bela Fleck played with them, and, as with the rest of the show, Boyd was really into it during his solo. The audienece got pumped by just him playing. he could've been on the stage by himslef, and everyone would've loved it. Not to mention Dave. And I musn't forget when the banjo player from Bela Fleck got together with dave and Boyd. The only thing I had a problem with is that I couldn't really hear Dave singing, I only heard the people around me singing (okay, I admit, I was singing too), but I wanted to hear Dave, and even when he was just talking to the audience, it's not like I could understand a word he said. In contrast, however, the encore was awesome. I have never heard, or will ever hear a better version of "Tripping Billies" than I heard then. I can't think of a time when I've had more fun than I did then.
