- * Well if you hadn't heard already that one of Howie's sisters died a couple of days ago you know now. The group had to cancel one of their shows but for good reason. Our prayers are with you and your family Howie. Now for some happy news: The BSB are in a hoard of magazines: US, People (Best and Worst Dressed). They will also be on the Much Music awards onthe 24th.

- * Well I'm back and I have some news. The BSB will be performing on Regis and Kathy Lee on Sept 2, the last Yahoo chat with Brian is on Sept. 3 and there is a really cool (and really long) interview with the BSB on Rick Dee's radio show at www. rick.com. GO CHECK IT OUT! I was just at my first BSB cocnert on Aug 19, it was great! Any questions about it don't hesitate to e-mail.

- * Sorry I haven't updated in a while but I've been on holidays. Anyway AJ got a new tattoo on his arm of a clown laughing with the words "laugh now" underneath. At their July 15th concert Chelsea Clinton was at their concert! Talk about pressure! It is rumored that the BSB's new album
will be coming out Nov' of 98, keep your fingers crossed!. The nominations are in! The Backstreet Boys hit video for their single Everybody (Backstreet's Back) has been nominated for two MTV Video Awards- Best Group Video and Best Dance Video. Way to go Boys!

- * The New Teen People Magazine is out and guess who is on the front? Well if you are really dense, it's the BSB! Inside there are really good pictures and a very well written article. Go check it out!

- * Backstreet Boys and Backstreet's Back have both been certifed DIAMOND in Canada. That's the
biggest certification you can have. In Canada, it means 1, 000, 000 copies sold. So, since Canada has a
population of 30 million people, it means one person out of thirty has a Backstreet Boys album in
Canada. And in the US, the sales are going very well too! In fact, the album Backstreet Boys was the
biggest seller of the year, behind Celine Dion's "Let's Talk About Love" and the Titanic Soundtrack..

- * Another BSB video has just been released. The catch is that it is only available at Music World. It looks pretty neat though, it has home video footage and concert footage that hasn't been seen. Check it out!

- * Well if you were lucky enough to catch the repeat of the SNL when the BSB were on you would have noticed that they aired both songs that they performed instead of just As Long As You Love Me. About three quarters through the way they performed Quit Playing Games With My Heart. And who says repeats always suck???

- * Sorry I haven't updated the news in a while I've been pretty busy and I haven't found much for news. Is anybody else kinda ticked off with the Offical BSB Site and how they never update anything? If so e-mail me and if there is enough interest I might start a petition. I am in the works right now of scanning new pics from some magazines that I got and adding new stuff to my site so bookmark my site, I'll keep updating my site

- * On June 2 the BSB release theird fourth videocassette. This one will include four videos (Everybody
(Backstreet's Back), As Long As You Love Me, Quit Playing Games and another. Also there will
be a part of a show in Germany, as well as parts of Much Music's 'Intimate & Interactive'. There will also be a
"preview" of something coming up and some behind-the-scenes footage. Also this videocassette will
come with a mini-CD (It is said to have 8 tracks), including unreleased songs, and some 'live' stuff.

- * The World Music Awards were televised on ABC on May 28 and the boys won an award for best dance group. When the boys got up to accept to their award they did an accapela version of All I Have To Give. It was great even though AJ had to sing Brian's part becuase he could not be there because of his surgery.

- * If you are a Canadian BSB fan then you will be glad to know that on the MuchMusic site they are doing a special spotlight on the Boys. Also if you didn't get to see the BSB at the World Music Awards it will be televised on May 28, 1998 on ABC, Brian wou't be there because of his surgery but it's still worth watching!

- * The BSB are coming out with a new Home Video called "All Access Video" The video has concert footage, the making of "Everbody" and other stuff. It comes out June 2nd. In Teen Beat you can enter to win a free video. Try it I mean you can't lose anything except the cost of the stamp!

- * Brian went into the hospital on May 4th for his elective heart surgery. Hope he is o.k.
They have asked that instead of sending him things that may shoud send a small donation
to a fund set up in Brian's name. All the details are at the Official BSB website.

Aaron Carter video. The shot of him sitting by a window is supposidly the Carters' house.

- * This is more like a rumour than news but it was said that the next video
the BSB are releasing is "Hey Mr. DJ (Keep playing this song)" It was rumored they
finished shooting the video before Brian went in for his surgery.
