Netscape Navigator is a good browser -- the only problem is its compatibility with the commonly used OS here in the Philippines, Windows 95/98. The browser, when up and running, makes it hard for multi-tasking. Yes, Navigator 3.xx had many features that IE 3.xx didn't have, and Navigator 3.xx was the most downloaded browser back in the good ol' days. But when IE 4 was released, Microsoft's share in the browser market went up. I'm now guilty of using IE 4, Outlook Express, AND, sometimes, FrontPage Express. Sorry, but they REALLY work better with my OS, and with my beat-up PC.

Microsoft's Internet Explorer is more compatible with Windows 95/98, because they're products of one company (no need to say which).

So there's no "better browser" -- but I have to admit, IE 3.xx really bites.
