Reviews - Kerrang! #716 - KKKK (i.e. four out of five) - 'The long-awaited comeback single from the Bradford oiks, 'Josephine' is a heart-warming and typically skewed tale of friendship conquering cross-dressing confusion and sexual ambiguity, featuring a surf-frolicking, twanging 'Peter Gunn' riff, sackloads of soaring melodies, and the boy Wright singing his little Northern soul out. Exactly what we need in the Top 40 next week, in other words.'
Terrorvision's first single in two years, and well worth the wait. It's about a transexual, much to the disgruntlement of new keyboardist Josephine Ellul, who said she was fed up with people asking her if she was the song's inspiration!
The video featured the band running along a race track in Spain, hotly pursued by a transvestite - drag racing, get it? Tony came up with the idea whilst watching the Grand Prix!
'Josephine' is taken from the album 'Shaving Peaches'.
