Wanna know why I like Hanson?

Ok, first I'll start where I first heard about them. I was just flipping through the May 1997 issue of "Seventeen" Magazine and there was a small picture of them and an article. For some reason they just caught my eye. I was like "man they look young to be in a group". I read the article and found out a few of the basics about them. It said they had a song called "Mmmbop" that was a big hit. Well I had never heard of "Mmmbop" before. So I kinda assumed they were just some local band from somewhere that "Seventeen" found. It was some kind of new bands section and I have yet to see anything from the other bands in it. Anyways, the very next day I was sitting on the couch listening to the radio. Then the dj goes "And here's the hit from a new band called Hanson" I was like "Hanson?, isn't that the band from that magazine?" And that's when I heard "Mmmbop" for the first time. I have been head over heels for them ever since. I have figured that it must have been April of 1997 so it's been over a year!

So that's how I heard of Hanson, now here's why I love them! You're probably thinking, "Teen-age girl, she's obsessed with their looks" Well I have news for you, not all of us fans are teeny-boppers! It's quite simple really, the music just kicks butt! I had all the songs on MON memorized in just a couple of days! I played that thing over and over so many time! Is it possible to wear out a cd from over playing? hehe, I also love their personallities. The are so down to earth and they don't care that there are people who don't like them. They are doing what they're doing because the love it. When the perform you can just see it on their faces! The pure love of the music! You all know that look on Tay's face when he's singing and he'll throw is head back. You can tell the music is in their very soul! So as you see, Hanson is a lot more than just pretty faces. That's why I love them. I love them for that awesome music!
