As far as Smiths songs go, this is somewhat easy. Chords are picked
through, bass tab on the bottom capo up two frets (so when you see an E,
it's like playing a D)

Still Ill
From: shruew@amiserv.xnet.com (Johnny Mnemonic)
Hello, I tabbed this out a long time ago, but as anyone who saw
it will know, it was hard to follow. I've given up trying to follow
the words with the music. Just keep time with the bass line (which
is a simplky 4/4) and if you can get the music together then the lyrics
should come easy. I have plenty of other Smiths tab around (most, if not
all, can be found on ftp sites), but feel free to bug me if you cant find
something you want. Also feel free to bug me about anything Smiths related,
about this tab, or just to beg me to join your band :)

with the music the way one might suspect, the But we... part starts
at the end of the second time (the But starts at the G#m) so the

Just listen to the song a bit and try to follow along). This next
part also serves as the bridge after verse 4...

Notes:
This is the way Johnny would play it in concert. If anybody
has the
"There is a Light..." cd single or a copy of the Oxford '85 concert,
this
should be familiar. It's a simplified version of the studio
versions.
Once again, tune up all strings two semitones or capo up two frets

Edward, see those alluring lights?
tonight will be your very last night.
a woman said, "I know my son is dead
I'll never rest my hand on his sacred head."
Hindley wakes and Hindley says:
"Wherever he has gone, I have gone."
But fresh lilaced moorland fields
Cannot hide the stolid stench of death
Hindley wakes and Hindley says:
"Whatever he has done, I have done."
But this is no easy ride
for a child cries:
"find me...find me, nothing more
we're on a sullen misty moor
we may be dead and we may be gone
but we will be right by your side
until the day you die
his is no easy ride.
we will haunt you when you laugh
yes, you could say we're a team
you might sleep
BUT YOU WILL NEVER DREAM!
Oh Manchester, so much to answer for
Oh Manchester, so much to answer for
Over the moor, I'm on the moor
