• I think that the most underutilized character(s) would have to be Belle and Brady. They hardly ever appear on the show and no one pays any attention to them when they are around.

• Lucas. I was so glad to see him take on some responsibility and change for the better once he found out he's Will's dad. I think they should develop him into an even more respectable character. Goodness knows, they need some type of role model in Salem. Most everyone else has compromised their morals and values.

• Poor Wendy, looking after Will all the time... Where did she go? I guess Jonah went with her... I would have to say that all the kids are underutilized, they're born. then, once their paternity is determined, and the custody battle is settled, they disappear, either to the poor neighbors who get stuck with them, or the grandparents, who become surrogate parents. Then 4 years later they magically become 16, and get a story, of course no one goes to high school, much less college. What is happening to the youth of Salem? It's a generation of uneducated, unloved, unwanted kids who are obviously lost.

• Bo Brady!! I'm HOLDING OUTR FOR A HERO!! Bo is the best character ever on DAYS. REILLY has misused and underused this character. Bo is a hero, a fighter, a passionate rebel, NOT a babysitter for Billie, or a yuppie who sits and drinks at a cafe. Bo is THE CHEATIN' HEART, and beer, and a temper. I want him back NOW!! AND I want him with Hope. Bo and Hope are DAYS BEST COUPLE EVER and they are barely on. DAYS is not even worth watching anymore!!!

• Do I only get to pick one? Practically every Horton and Brady is underused (the CORE families, I'd like to point out), with the notable exceptions of Sami and Carrie. Except for the John/Marlena/Kristen fiasco, "Days" has become kiddie town: No one under 25 allowed. If I wanted to watch a bunch of dysfunctional twentysomethings, I'd pop in my "Friends" tapes at least they're entertaining (BTW, I'm 27 so this isn't generational bias here). I think Bo and Hope are the most underused characters with the greatest potential. It's really a shame, too, b/c we've seen how great they can be together. I also think Dr. Mike, Mrs. H, Abe & Lexie are sorely underused. All of these people get hardly any material, while in the meantime Eileen Davidson gets to play FOUR roles. Something is definitely amiss.

• I THINK THE MOST UNDERUTILIZED CHARATER ON DAYS IS CARRIE. HER BASIC STORYLINE IS WITH AUSTIN AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE SAMMIE IN THE SCENES ITS NEVER JUST AUSTIN AND CARRIE, ITS ALWAYS CARRIE, AUSTIN, AND SAMMIE. PERSONALLY I HATE IT AND I THINK ITS REALLY STUPID BECAUSE I HATE SAMMIE SHE IS NOTHING BUT A DESPICABLE, STUCK UP, SELF OBBCESSED, LITTLE WITCH! WHY DOESN'T SHE MAKE HER OWN LIFE WITH LUCAS OR SOMEONE INSTEAD OF ALWAYS GETTING INTO AUSTIN AND CARRIE'S. ANYWAY CARRIE DOESN'T REALLY HAVE A BIG STORYLINE OUT OF THE WHOLE AUSTIN SITUATION, AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO RUIN IT BY PUTTING SAMMIE IN IT TO GET INTO THEIR BUISNESS OR TRY TO BREAK THEM UP. IT IS GETTING VERY OLD THEY NEED TO MOVE ON WITH THE SITUATION OR JUST DROP IT AND LEAVE IT BEHIND AND PUT SAMMIE WITH SOMEONE ELSE OR JUST MAKE HER HATE AUSTIN. I THOUGHT SOAPS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SEMI-REAL LIFE AND ANYONE WHO WAS DITCHED SO HARD OR EVEN DID THE THINGS SHE'S PULLED WOULD HATE EACH OTHER AND ! NOT WANT TO EVEN SEE HIM OR HER AGAIN.

• Bo Brady!!! Bo was and could still be the most exciting hero on DAYS. Of course this means that Peter Reckell needs to be given a storyline instead of stuck on the backburner. There are many reason why I HATED the Reilly years, but the biggest reason is that he refused to give PR a decent FRONTBURNER storyline, and he turned Bo Brady into an indecisive, inactive character for the last two years. I WILL NEVER forgive REILLY for this garbage, and I only hope Sally Sussman can return Bo to the way he was so I will want to watch DAYS again. Still HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO...BO BRADY!!

• Even though Mike Horton has recently actually had some action, I still think he is the most underutilized character on Days. The writer's teased the fans by giving Mike a storyline that left him heartbroken. Now they need to give Mike a life of his own and not allow him to melt back into the hospitals walls. Give him someone to love and make Carrie realize she loves him and have to fight for him. I want to see the good doctor have women adoring him instead of him having to be on the outside watching everyone be in love.

• I think that the most underutilized character would probably have to be Lucas. Now, don't get me wrong. He is definetely not one of my favorite characters, but they just hardly have ever really had him in the middle of a big situation except for maybe the one week where they told him about his being Will's father. There really weren't many other times when he was onscreen alot. Oh, well..those are just my thoughts!

• Bo Brady. Peter Reckell is one of DAYS best and most popular actors, and one-half of DAYS greatest couple ever. Yet for over a year Bo Brady has had NOTHING to do. Under Reilly, Bo Brady , larger than life, passionate, heroic rebel, who fights for his family and his true love Hope, was left in Rome, interacted with no one but Billie or wasn't seen at all. THIS is something for which I will NEVER forgive JERk. I am so gla JERk is gone. Hopefully, SSM will give PR work worth his talent and Bo Brady will once again be front and center on DAYS!!!!!

• Kate Roberts. I know she is utilized quite a bit, but not in the right way. OK, she is supposed to be in love with Victor, but we all know where that is headed, so I think she should be given a secret love interest. After all she has to release her _____ tensions someplace.

• Mike. He has soooo much potential to be a great character with a great storyline. I mean think about it. He is the very best doctor in Salem at the present time--everyone goes to him for everything they need. He is a member of a very prominent family--the Horton's. THE Dr. Tom Horton is his grandfather--could Mike have learned from anyone better?? Not to mention he is very good looking. I find it hard to believe that he does not have women lining up to get a date with this wonderful man. But all he can do is sit around and daydream about a "love" with Carrie that was really no more than a crush. Please do something more with Roark's talent.

• Mike is the person who never gets to do anything except save other peoples life and mess up Carrie's and Austin's. If they would just let Mike be a "normal" person then he would be a great. He is great already, but he needs to have more of a social life. Maybe cast a "real" love in for Mike instead of one who will be taken away from him. What do you think?

• I think that until recently the most underutilized character is Mike Horton. Then when they finally began to use Mike in a great storyline, they ruined it by letting Carrie marry the dimwitted Austin. Carrie and Mike would be a great couple and I hope that this will happen eventually, though I don't know if I'll still be alive to see it happen since it seems to take 2-3 years for any storyline to come to really develop. And then just as a couple becomes happy then they tear them apart again. I'm sure as soon as Jack & Jennifer get together one of them will have some fatal disease and die.

• Underutilized as in not given a fair chance to act on Days? I'd have to say that was Alice. I think she is the cutest thing on Daytime TV! She may have suffered a major stroke but she sure has gotten back on her feet! I just loved her scenes with Susan when they were trying to help Jenn get a job at the prison. I think that Francis Reid should be given a fair chance to show more of her acting talents. She could give a few of the cast members some lessons!! Austin ring a bell?.......

• Peter Reckell is one of DAYS most talented and popular characters. Reilly has refused to write anything decent for Peter since he returned. I truly believe (though I have no proof) that Reilly resented teh popularity of Bo and Hope (as played by PR and KA) and want to keep HIS creation Bo and Billie going. I think he did the John and Hope thing to spite the fans of Bo and Hope. I really DESPISE REILLY.

• Bo Brady......Peter Reckell, one of DAYS best and all-time favorite actors, has been stuck on the backburner for months. And what LITTLE storyline he has had has been Bo Babysitting Billie, sitting in a cafe , doing nothing. • It's hard to say which is the most underutilized character on Days. Celeste, Susan, Vivian and Ivan are a riot together but we don't see them nearly enough. What did we expect though. All Days seems to care about right now is creating role after role for Eileen Davidson. As far as I am concerned, the only character Eileen plays that is worth watching is Susan Banks.

• Abe Carver - he is constantly being used as an extra in the Brady family saga. He should have a storyline of his own and maybe now with Lexie's apparent trust in Stefano, both Abe and Lexie will have more to do other than stand around and support the other characters. Of course, this could just mean that now they will stand around and support the DiMera's instead of the Bradys - I hope not!!

• Bo Brady has to be the most under utilized character on Days. For the last few months, he has absolutely nothing to do except babysit Billie. He use to be a strong, independent, go after what he believes in type character and now he can't make up his mind over what woman he should be with. He knows he loves Hope and always will, yet he accepts the fact that she is with a man that he thinks beat a woman up and killed a man. The old Bo Brady would never have stood for this. The old Bo Brady would have gone after the woman he loves and tell her so.
