Ren & Stimpy

Ren & Stimpy was a fast-paced cartoon that became a favorite in the early 1990's when Nickelodeon first aired it on August 11, 1991. The main and just about only chartchters are Ren who was a tempermental Chihuahua who demanded attention from his feline housemate named Stimpy. Stimpy, who was the dumber of the two was always doing some weird things, but usually was with his friend Ren. Each one of the episodes were filled with explosions, suashing, fighting, nose-picking, and just plain "gross-out" things. Jazzy music also added with some of the things that were going on in the show. The creator of Ren & Stimpy John Kricfalusi, originally provided the voice of Ren. And after a falling-out by creative managers, he was let go. The person who did the voice of Stimpy also went on to do the voice of Ren. Ren & Stimpy was the most popular show on Nickelodeon from 1991-to about when it ended in 1995. But when the show was canceled in 1995 Rugrats started to gain in popularity.

Main Characters

Ren- a Chihuahua who also shared the house he lived in with his best freind a cat names Stimpy. Usually he was the wildest one of the two. Stimpy- the feline freind of Stimpy. He usually went along with Ren whenever he went someplace, but was not as wild as Ren. All of the other people on the show were usually one time only.
