Hey Arnold!

Hey Arnold is about the normal life of an 11-year old kid named Arnold. Like Rocko on Rocko's Modern Life there has not been any last name revealed. Arnold, the main charater of the show lives in a bording house somewhere in a big city like Chicago or New York. He lives with his strange Grandma who acts younger then she is, and also his Grandpa, along with some more of the "boarders." Arnold's bedroom is in the attic of the house. His best friend, who he is always doing things like walking around the neighborhood with, etc, is named Gerald. Arnold and Gerarld and all of their other classmates go about doing normal things like forth graders would normally do. But one of the things that Arnold doesn't know is that Helga Pataki has a crush on him. She has never really told him or anyone else so he has no idea that she is secretly in love with him. Because she loves him she is very mean to Arnold. Mostly she is saying something to him about the weird shape of his head, and the way he dresses. He has a football sized head and looks like he's wearing a skirt.

Other classmates in his class include Phoebe, who is Helga's best friend, Harold who is an overweight child usually getting teased by Helga, Brainy who is actually really stupid and talks kind of slow. Most of the other people aren't on as much as some of these people. Their teacher in the third and fourth seasons is Mr. Simmons.

Nickelodeon first aired this show in 1996 when the network advanced into the 8 O'clcok time slot. Starting March 8 a new season will be starting, but for now you can still see the 1998 repeats.

Main Characters

Arnold (no last name)- 11-year old who lives in a boarding house with some strange people. He also lives with his Grandma and Grandpa. He usually acts just like a normal 11-year old would act like. He also has a room with very technological things.

Gerald- Arnold's best friend. Arnold hangs around with him, when they walk around the neighborhood thinking of something to do. He is usually calling Arnold a "bold" kid.

Helga Pataki- She is secretly in love with Arnold. She will do anything to get into his room, or get somthing like a peice of hair from him. But when she's is around Arnold or anyone else she usually acts snotty.

Grandma- Arnold's grandmother. She is usually doing some weird thing not like a normal grandma would do. In one episode she swung from a tree hanging by a rope.

Grandpa- Sometimes he is usually teaching Arnold life lessons, but he is definatly more laid back then Arnold's grnadma is.

Some of the other people in Arnold's class that he knows, but arn't in every episode are mentioned above.
