Rocko's Modern Life first aired on September 18, 1993, the fouth Nicktoon ever made. The main idea for Rocko's Modern Life has been described like a cartoon from the '40s where things in the show were exaggerated, the charters were demolished and then put back together, and the action was put together at a fast pace. Despite all that I think that Rocko's Modern Life was one of the best Nicktoons ever made.
The main idea for Rocko's Modern Life is about an Australian wallaby named Rocko going about the normal day in life. One of his best friends, Heffer, who was a very overweight cow, usually was with him thinking of differnt wild things to do with his friend. His other friend Filber, a turtle, who was really worring about things in life. He was also a little strange, but that was normal because everyone on the show really is.
Nickelodeon canceled Rocko's Modern LIfe in 1996, but you can still see them on every day at 4:30/3:30 central. Even today I still think that Rocko's Modern Life is a funny show.

Main Characters

Rocko (no last name known)- an Austrillian wallaby that had a pretty normal life living around the other people in "O-town." He worked at Kind-of-a-lot-o-comics. A comic store, and was usually getting talked into doing something by his friends.

Heffer Wolfe- a steer whos weight is usually in jokes on the show. He was adopted by a family of all woves, which was also a joke. He was also Rocko's best friend, and talked him into some weird things.

Filbert Turle- Another one of Rocko's friends. Filbert is kind of a worry wart. Usually he is the one that something bad happens too.

Ed and Bev Bighead- Rocko's frog neighbors. Ed is really mean a lot of the time. He is usually trying to get Rocko out of the neigborhood. While Bev is a little bit nicer.

Spunky- Rocko's strange dog. He did things like fall in love with Rocko's broom, drank his drew, and more.

Tick and Ringworm- two critters that lived in Spunky's skin. Some episodes are about them, which are turned into a fake show. Rocko has no idea about them.
