The Crime and Investigation Network has announced that it will be launching in the UK on July 10th at 8pm.

Now, I have to admit that it was some years ago, when I wrote in an article that I felt that we were getting to the point where more channels would fail than succeed.

We haven't had that happen yet, and the number of channel launches doesn't seem to have slowed down one little bit.

But, we have seen a growing number of failures and very few of these failures have ever returned.

For every new channel that launches, I always hope for the best, and I wish Crime and Investigation all the very best of luck in their endeavours.

However, a little voice in my head keeps saying to me, "It can't be long now. The bubble will burst before too long." and I can't help but think that that nagging voice will soon be right.
