Flower/Candle Ceremony With The Children

John and Marlena wanted to re-comitt to their family, so they decided to have this ceremony to bring them together. Each child was called up and given a flower which described them the best. Belle was the Daisy. Brady- the sunflower. Sami was the rose and Eric was the snapdragon. Carrie was the orchid. after each child went to the front and placed their flower in the assortment, John and Marlena lit the candle in the middle.

After the ceremony, everyone read along to the Book of I Corinthians: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perserves. Love never fails.
