Cow and Chicken are the exploits of a 10-year old Cow, and an 8-year old Chicken, who live in an every day normal town; yet their adventures are anything but normal. Their mom and dad consist of two pairs of legs, their friends, Flem and Earl, are complete morons, and a devilish "Red Guy" attempts to trick them at every turn.Cow and chicken originally began as a story that cartoonist David Feiss had created "on the fly" for his children. In 1994, when asked to pitch a cartoon to Hanna Barberra for Cartoon Network, this was his most logical choice. Feiss, with help from his cousin Sam Kieth, created the pilot episode entitled "No Smoking". The cartoon was a hit, and Cartoon Network decided to make "Cow and Chicken" a regular series. "Cow and Chicken" went into production in 1996, and aired from 1997 until the spring of 1999. Reruns of the show can be currently seen on "Cartoon Network" in over 100 countries world wide |
