I hunted religiously for the album GIRLS for years. Supposedly released in Britain in May, 1980, my brother said he would get it as a 20th birthday present in June of that year. I was 30 when I got it. Having spent many years fruitlessly searching, I enlisted the help of a specialist record-finding company. But all they could locate was a cassette version. They wrote and said "we in fact normally only deal in vinyl but this item is so rare we couldn't resist picking it up in tape form. It might be a long time before we can offer you the vinyl version". Naturally, we bought it. I have since been able to transfer the songs to CD (via my computer) and a good friend of mine is finishing off the clean-up process on it for me.(thanks, Stan, once again!) >		Well, as it happens, I have some very nice friends in Holland who went to a record fair last year and found the LP. Even though they don't have a vinyl copy themselves, they very, very unselfishly gave it to me as a 41st birthday present. Many, many thanks indeed to Ilse & Ron van Leeuwen By the way, has anyone ever seen the film? I managed to catch it once on a Dutch satellite channel. I'm no film critic but sheeeeeeeesh! It's bad! The music is the film's saving grace!
