Cedric Smith  - Alec King

Since the Road to Avonlea ended in 1996,  Cedric has been working on his singing career and doing guest acting roles.  Otherwise Smith has been pretty quiet.  He participated in the BC Festival, singing.  Cedric Smith has also worked with Loreena Mc Kennitt on her "Elemental" CD. His voice can be heard on the CBC intro.  In 1996, Cedric was in Thunder Point and Golden Will : The Silken Laumen Story.  In 1997, Smith was seen in the TV movie Everything to Gain, he played Edward Jordan.  In 1998 and 1999, Cedric Smith was the voice of Mentor in the cartoon animated series Silver Surfer on FOX.  Since then he was seen in Sea People (1999) and The Long Island Incident (1998) and Goya : Awakened in a Dream (1999).  He has also been seen in the Heritage comercials.  In 1998, Smith participated in the Scream in the High Park.  Cedric Smith has also been working with other RTA cast members in being a spokesperson for World Vision.  IF you have any more information on what Cedric Smith has been doing lately please leave a message on the board.
