From the Beginning
by M. F. Luder
Five different guys from very different backgrounds are placed together, forming a group with very little future.
Nick "Kaos" Carter. The 13 year old blond had always been in entertainment -- one way or the other. After running into AJ and Howie in more than one audition, the three of them became fast friends. Innocent and naive, young Nicky could make you giggle and chuckle in no time.
AJ "Bone" McLean. Your typical Bad boy. At only 15, his voice could make you move along the music. With theater and some acting experience, he was ready to take over the world. And whoever got in his way. Close only to Howie, for some strange reason that not even he could explain, AJ just wasn't friends with Kevin at all. Friction from the first moment, it was just a crash of mentalities.
Brian "B-Rok" Littrell. A family youth. Brought from Lexington after a phone call from Kevin, Brian decided that trying out for this new band wasn't so bad at all. Close friend to Kevin ever since his birth, Brian was left under the watchful eye of the older cousin. A kid at heart, it wasn't difficult for him to become fast friends with young Nick Carter.
Howie "Sweet D." Dorough. The mind behind the decision of forming the group. Half responsible for AJ's attitude, Howie had been close to the teenager ever since they met in a singing competition, after AJ beat him fair and square. Sensitive and compassionate, his only focus in mind was making the group work. Second in age, he couldn't help but feel slightly aware of just how much pressure there must have been on Kevin's shoulders as he took over the parental role.
Kevin "Train" Richardson. At 21, called by friend, his singing experience was completely based on church chorus. The eldest of the group, and a serious person at nature, Kevin took over the responsibility of watching after his four younger brothers. Father figure to the core, Kevin just couldn't help but take over the charge that were needed to make the group work.
Five very different people indeed.

They're out to put an end to the X-Files, Scully. I don't know why, but any excuse will do. Now, I don't really care about my record, but you'd be in trouble just for sitting in this car and I'd hate to see you to carry an official reprimand in your file because of me.
