They dont go together.Mashed potatoes and gravy ; yes.Beans and

I don't think i can ask her though.

i asked jamie to marry me.

We take Jamie and Arley to a night of dinner and dancing.

Jamie,Do you think nat still loves me?

He has been so distracted.Its like he's hiding somthing.
He acts like he's about to break it off with me.
JAMIE
I don't think he is.
ARLEY
He fell out of his chair when i came in the room.
(LOOKS UPSET)
I'm going to break up with him
JAMIE
No......just give it one more week first.
ARLEY
I really dont think a week will make much difference.
JAMIE
Had i not given Paul the "one more week" we wouldn't have even moved in
together.
ARLEY

Yeah.Why would you want to leave him after a whole year?
ARLEY
Because.He hasn't been himself for like 2 months.
He keeps putting his hand in his pocket and fidddling with
this box.I go to look when he's asleep,but he hides it.

Thats whats driving ME crazy! I think it might be an
engagment ring....but ,wouldn't he ask me to marry
him if it was?
JAMIE
Most likly,no.You know how Nat fears rejection
ARLEY
