Margaret Lydian Jones (Maggie)

Age: 24

Description: Maggie is 5'7" tall with red hair that 
falls to her waist. Her skin is pale and smooth and she 
has blue eyes and dimples in her cheeks.

Occupation: Aerobics instructor/sculpture

Family:

Step-Father: Samuel O'Brian
Step-Sister: Catherine O'Brian, age 14

Personality: Maggie is not an extroverted person, but 
she's not too introverted. While she is more the listen 
and watch type, if something is important to her she 
will not hesitate to let her feelings out.  She likes 
her solitude, mainly because as an artist it is 
something she has gotten use to, but every now and then 
she gets the urge to 'party' and she'll do something 
that seems out of character for her.  She is an 
intelligent woman, but just as with her opinions she 
doesn't actively air this, perferring people to think 
she is not so smart so she can learn more about them.  

Background:  Before the Visitors arrive Margaret, or 
Maggie as she is called, is a struggling artist who is 
working as an aerobics instructor to pay the bills.  
She comes from a middle-class background and is not close 
to her family because both her parents are divorced and both 
live back east.  But she likes her step-father and 
step-sister though she has not spent much time with them.
She has received no formal education beyond high 
school but she is very well read and knows much about
art.

Leary is not an original character to the V universe. 
He comes from the Navy Seals universe and I make no
claims to this character.  
This is just a brief intro to Leary's character:
 Not long after the Visitors land, Maggie
joins up with a small group of Navy Seals sent in to
check out the Visitors.  The group is lead by Daniel
Leary, or Leary as he is called.  
He was the groups 4th in command,
but after a failed attempt to recon the Visitors ships,
Leary is the one left in charge. 
Leary is a no-nonsense sort of man, though he 
does have a sense of humor and
compassion. He tries to keep focused on the job at
hand and he very much wants to let the world know
the truthabout the Visitors. 
More about Leary will be revealed as the story unfolds. 

Name: Joanna Tristen Shannon (JT)
Nickname: Hard Case

Age: 28

Description: 
5"6 to 5"7
Short,brown hair with auburn highlights, one length to 
middle of her neck. Curled under and 
parted on the left side.Dark brown eyes.
Tan complexion  
Small but strong build.

Family:
Mother and Father died in a car accident 
when she was a child. Her grandparents 
raised her from the time she was 4 years old.
Grandmother; Margaret O'Hare 
Grandfather; Francis Shannon a retired Navy colonel.
 Both are deceased.

Occupation:
Navy Seal
First Woman to make the Navy Seals team.

Personality profile:
JT is head strong and ornery at times. 
She is devoted to the team and her work as a seal.
 She is very confident in herself. Yet with out the
 team she would be lost. They are her only family 
and her only friends. She's quick to temper and a 
little on the unfriendly side with other people.
 She holds her emotions in well so she can not
 be perceived as a weak female. Keeps her mind
 on the task at hand until its done and she is
 alone, she doesn't like others to see her cry.
 This is the reason she was given the nickname, 
Hard Case.


Personal History:
 JT fought her way threw Seal Training but
 held her own.
Currin and Hawkens backed her. They became 
her mentors.
She has been a valued member of the team ever 
since she arrived.
 Her only downfall and vise is Dane. They 
became best friends soon after they met 
and a year later it became more. They hid
 their relationship from the team for as 
long as they could. But it was soon apparent 
they meant more to eachother than close friends.
 The team, though warning them of the consequences
 of their actions resulting in JT, if not both of 
them loosing their careers, has backed them and
 helped to keep their relationship secret from 
the high command.

When the visitors arrived JT had been on 
special assignment in England. Crazy as it
 was she was to give a speech on woman in the Navy,
 namely as a woman belonging to a Seal Team.
Then she was off to Australia for a training 
session and to give the same speech there. 
With all the confusion of the arrival of the
 Visitors it had taken her forever to get a 
flight back to the US. Once she had return 
there were meetings and general hoopla with
 the high commands. She had been anxious to 
rejoin her team and get back to business.
