Revolutionary boy Pip

Or

Why the hell is Mr. Garrison’s class going on a trip to Japan?

By Wackogirl

{Warning.}

{For the theme song, it is a cross between the Utena opening and the South Park one. The song for Utena plays with the sub titles, but instead of the Utena characters we see the South Park ones. We see the silhouettes of the characters, with them becoming visible when the title "Revolutionary Boy Pip" appears on the screen. We then see the same scenes from the Utena theme, but with the South Park characters and background. Each of the characters walking in front of the students then pausing and looking back, the characters laying on a grassy field, etc. In the scenes where it’s Utena and Anthy, all four of the characters appear instead. As the song reaches the end, we see the back of Pip, he then turns around and looks right into the camera, a worried expression on his face. The song then ends.}

{The scene opens again, this time with spinning roses on the four corners of the screen. We see a younger Pip. (Throughout this whole scene, all the faces are blacked out.). A voice is heard.}

Voice: Once upon a time, there was a young boy, and he was very sad, for his parents and younger brothers were dead. {We see a younger Pip standing in front of two large tombstones in a field, along with five smaller ones.)

Voice: Because of this, the young boy was forced to live with his older sister and her husband. Despite the boy’s kindness, his sister miss-treated him. (We see Mrs. Joe holding The Tickler (For anyone who hasn’t read Great Expectations, it’s a stick that Mrs. Joe used to beat Pip.))

Voice: The boy lived with this, but one day met an old friend of his mothers. (We see a person, we can not tell who it is.)

Voice: She took a ring off her finger and gave it to the young boy. "My child" she told him "Your mother gave this to me, for we were friends as children. Now, I wish for you to have it. Your mother was a kind woman, and as long as you have this I know you will be kind to others, as your mother was. {We see Pip holding the ring in his hand, it has a rose on it}

Voice: The boy, in wishing not to upset her, hid the ring from his sister. He decided to be always kind as the woman had anticipated. No matter how mean or how cruel others were to him, he never retaliated. But was that really such a good idea? {We see the other kids beating up on Pip. The scene ends.)

(Ok, I know, it was lame, but it was the best I could come up with using Pip’s Great Expectations past.)

{The title appears: "Why the Hell is Mr. Garrison’s class going on a trip to Japan?"}

{Cut to:}
{Mr.Garrison’s class room.}

Mr. Garrison: Ok now children, I’m going to write a sentence on the board & I want you to tell me what the noun is.

{He writes "Boy George was a gay homosexual"}

{Principle Victoria walks in.}

Principal Victoria: Howdy-ho Mr. Garrison.

Mr. Garrison: Yes Principle Victoria, how can I help you?

Principle Victoria: Well, it turns out that for some reason the Government wants to send a bunch of kids from South Park to Japan.

Mr. Garrison: what does that have to do with my class?

Principal Victoria: Because your class is the one that has been chosen to go. You will all be leaving tomorrow, so be ready.

Stan: (whispering to Kyle) Dude, I don’t wanna go to Japan, there’s nothing good there and they all talk funny.

Kyle: (whispering to Stan) That’s where all the video games are made.

Stan: Really?

Kyle: Yeah

Stan: Cool

{Cut to}
{Utena & Anthy’s dorm room. Anthy is sitting on the floor playing cards with Chu-Chu. Suddenly, the door opens and Utena walks in, wearing red shorts and a black tank top. She walks up the ladder to her bed and lies down.}

Anthy: How was the game, Ms. Utena?

Utena: Great. We won. How was your…

{There’s a knock at the door.}

Man: (from behind door) letter for Ms. Tengou, Utena.

{Utena jumps down off the bed and opens the door.}

Man: Sign here please.

{Utena does so. The man gives her the letter.}

Utena: Thank you and have a nice day

Man: You too miss.

{Utena walks back over to her bed.}

Utena: (As she walks) Lets see. {Opens the letter} Dear miss Tengou. Greeting yadda yadda yadda {Reads it}

Anthy: What is it, Ms. Utena?

Utena: It says that a bunch of eight year olds are going to stay at the school for a week and I have to show one of them around. A Philip Pirrip. It also says that you have to take one around. Wendy Testaburger? What kind of name is that?

Anthy: I do not know, Ms. Utena.

Utena: (upset) Anthy! Please stop with the Ms. Utena stuff.

Anthy: But I am engaged to you, Ms. Utena.

Utena: How many times do I have to…

{Notices Anthy looking at her}

Utena: Oh, never mind.

{Utena growls, then lays down on her bed}

{Cut to}
{The front of the school. It’s really early in the morning (the sun is just coming up). All the kids in the class are standing around, their parents are there too. One of those travel buses is there. The kids are putting suitcases & duffel bags in the bus. }

{Zoom in to where the four boys & Kathleen are standing in front of the bus. Kathleen is trying to shove in a huge duffel bag in the bus.}

Kenny: (Damnit Kath, what the hell do you have in there?)

Kathleen: (Looking over at him, but still leaning on the bag) the usual. Discman, Lab top, CD’s, food, clothes, earrings, hair dryer, hair products…(* Kathleen really doesn’t have all these things. There is a reason for her saying it. You’ll find out later in the story.)

Kyle: Kathleen, we’re only gonna be gone for a week, how could you pack that much?

Kathleen: Easy (goes back to shoving bag in, starts mumbling under breath) stupid ass bag, won’t fit, need more room.

Stuart: (obviously drunk) Now Kenny, you have a good time in San Francisco. Say hi to the penguins for me.

Peggy: (slaps him in the head) Damnit Stuart, he’s going to Japan. Can’t you even get that right? Now Kenny, you be good and here’s a bag for leftover food.

Kenny: (Ok mom)

Peggy: And Kathleen.

Kathleen: (Finally gets bag to fit in) Yeah Mrs. McCorm?

Peggy: You make sure our Kenny is a good boy

Kathleen: Can do.

{The parents say their good-bye and leave, most still looking half-asleep.}

Kenny: (Why must you always hang around us?)

Kathleen: Because I do. Live with it Pov.

Kenny: (You’re a pov too you dumb fuck!)

Kathleen: So? You still suck.

Cartman: AH! You be nice to Kenny or I’ll kick you in the nuts.

{Kathleen looks at him, then sighs and rolls her eyes.}

{Mr. Garrison walks over}

Mr. Garrison: Ok kids, it’s time to go, on the bus all of you.

{The kids start to get on. The bus driver is no other then the kid’s favorite bus driver, Ms. Crabtree!}

Ms. Crabtree: GET ON THE BUS DAMNIT!

{The kids grumble and get on.}

{The kids sit down in the back. Stan and Kyle are together, Kenny and Cartman are across the isle, Wendy is in front of Stan with Bebe next to her, Kathleen is in the seet across from where Wendy and Bebe are. Terence is in front of Kathleen with Bill and Fossy in front of him. The rest of the kids are scattered around the bus.}

{Cut to}
{Exterior shot. the Ohtori academy (the school all the people on Utena go to. It’s a really big boarding school with a lot of roses everywhere).}

{Cut to}
{An elevator. It’s red and has bars in front of them. At first it is empty, then as it moves up the shadows of Touga, Juri & Miki appear}

Touga: (while elevator is moving up) If the chick can not break out of the shell, it will die with out ever truly being born. We are the chick. The earth is our shell. Smash the world’s shell. (With Juri & Miki) For the Revolution of the world! {With this, the elevator stops moving, and the doors open. We can see in a large open room with a table and 3 chairs. Juri & Miki are sitting in the chairs, Touga is standing, holding a Frisbee in his hand}

Touga: As we all have received letters from End of the World, you should know of the students coming to the school.

Juri: Yes, but the letter also said that there would be a new duelist for the Rose Bride soon. Will one of these children be it?

Miki: I doubt it. After all, these children are only eight years old. {stops stop watch. We see the time; 14:56 seconds}

{Touga throws the Frisbee}

Touga: End of the World does work in many strange ways. There is a chance one of these children will be the new duelist. If that is so… {The Frisbee comes back, Touga catches it} Utena may truly have her hands full.

Miki: {stops stop watch again, we don’t see the time.} How hard can it be to fight a third grader in a duel?

Juri: I agree. There could be no way End of the World would make the new duelist an eight-year-old boy. It is just plain…

Touga: Just plain what? Stupid? Do you doubt End of the World? {throws the Frisbee again, it goes over to and stays above Juri’s head, floating in the air. Juri looks up at it, then back at Touga}

Juri: No, I could never doubt End of the World.

Touga: Very well then. {the Frisbee finally falls, hitting Juri in the head. Miki stops his stopwatch}

Miki: Who do you have Juri?

Juri: {looking down at a piece of paper} Kenny McCormick.

Miki: I have Eric Cartman {Click}

Juri: Who do you have Touga?

Touga: Kathleen Morris. Kathleen. A lovely name if I do say so myself. I hope it is only half as lovely as she is.

Miki: Was Nanami assigned anyone? {click}

Touga: A Stan something, I believe.

Juri: End of the World said there were to be 7 main children. I wonder who has the last one?

Miki: Yes {click} I wonder.

{Cut to:}
{The bus with the South Park kids on it. Some of the kids are jumping around, hanging out the window, stuff like that. Zoom into the 4 boys, Kathleen & Wendy.}

Kathleen: {hanging over the back of her seat} Ok, it’s Wendy’s turn now.

Wendy: Oh no, I’m not good at this.

Kathleen: Come on, just pick someone!

Wendy: Ok, uh……Cartman.

Cartman: {trying to act cool} Dare.

Wendy: Ok, um, {Kathleen whispers in her ear then smiles evilly, Wendy looks at her, Kathleen nods.} Ok Cartman, I dare you to go over & kiss Tweek.

Cartman: WHAT!

{All the kids burst out laughing}

Cartman: No way.

Kyle: You have to Cartman, or Kath gets to kick you in the nuts.

Cartman: Ah, weak.

{Cartman stands up, Kathleen pushes him towards were Tweek is sitting. He looks back, we see his view, Kath stands up and kicks the air, back to normal view. Cartman then kisses his finger & touches Tweeks’ arm. He runs back to his seat & sits down. The others are laughing at him.}

Cartman: {Pissed off} That was not funny!

Kyle: Yes it was.

Cartman: Well, it’s my turn now. I pick….Kath!

Kathleen: Dare. Do your worst.

Cartman: Ok, hum…I dare you to…

{Cartman goes on thinking. The camera moves to the side of his head, and we go towards his ear (or where it would be.) We move to inside his head. It’s all veiny and crap. There is a small brain looking thing in the center. It starts to smoke then bursts into flames. (Guess Cartman doesn’t think a lot). A bucket of water appears and puts out the flame. We move back to outside Cartman’s head.}

Cartman: I dare you to…kiss Tweek!

Kathleen: Cartman, that’s the same dare you just had!

Cartman: Yeah, but now I want you to suffer.

Kyle: That’s stupid Cartman. Don’t do it Kath.

Kathleen: Oh come on Cartman, you can do better then that, or is thinking for your self too hard?

Cartman: Alright, I dare you to, uh……stay in the bathroom with Kenny with the door closed for 2 minutes.

Kenny: (Awwwww)

Kathleen: Child’s play, but I’ll do it. Come on pumpkin man.

{Both Kenny and Kathleen get up and walk into the bathroom in the back of the bus. The others close the door and Cartman leans on it. Time laps, two minutes.}

Kathleen: (From inside, banging on the door while she says it.) Ok, It’s been two minutes. Let us out fatass!

Cartman: I don’t feel like it.

Kenny: (Damnit, let us out or we’ll tell the whole school about how you fuck your mom every night!)

Cartman: I do not!

Kenny: (Who cares? They’ll believe it.)

Cartman: You leave my mom out of this.

Kathleen: Only if you let us out!

Cartman: I said no damnit!

{Veiw changes to inside the bathroom.}

Kathleen: Fine, we can wait.

Kenny: (We can?)

Kathleen: Yes we can Kenny. We’ll just have to show fatass.

Kenny: (Damnit!)

{Caption: one hour later. Kathleen is now sitting on the toilet with the seat down, Kenny is on the floor. Kathleen is drumming a beat on her legs with her hands. Kenny looks worried. He finally stands up.}

Kenny: (I gotta piss.)

Kathleen: (obviously forgetting where they are) That’s great. And I care because…?

Kenny: (Well, for one thing, you’re sitting on the fucking toilet!)

Kathleen: Wha…? (Stands up, looks down at the toilet.) Oh no, no way.

Kenny: (What do you want me to do? I gotta go!)

Kathleen: We’ll be there in a few hours. Can’t you even wait?

Kenny: (No I can’t wait! I’ve been waiting for the past half-hour, I really gotta go!)

{Kenny goes over and pushed Kathleen away. The camera moves over to Kathleen, who is now sitting on the floor where Kenny was. We can hear Kenny "doing his business" in the background. He finishes, and the camera goes back to showing the whole bathroom. Kenny is now sitting on the toilet. Kathleen sighs.}

{Fade to a black background. The caption "16 hours later" appears in white letters. Fade out to:}

{The front of Ohtori school. Utena, Anthy, Miki, Juri, Touga, Nanami and Wakaba are standing in front, along with other characters. The bus pulls up. Mr. Crabtree screams, the kids run off. Mr. Garrison starts taking bags off the bus and throwing them wherever the Hell he feels like it. We change view into the bathroom, Kenny and Kathleen are fighting. Kenny's hood has fallen off, and both of them have wet hair. Kenny is trying to stick Kathleen's head in the toilet, she's kicking him. Ms. Crabtree screams again, the two realise the bus has stopped moving and run at the door. Back to outside veiw. The two come running off the bus.}

{Both scream, running around in circles. Kenny runs up to Utena and hugs her leg, Kathleen does the same to Miki. Utena and Miki just look at each other, then down at the two on their legs.}

Kenny:(At the same time as Kathleen) (Please, dear God get her away form me!)

Kathleen:(At the same time as Kenny) No, I never want to see him again!

Utena: (To Kenny) That is not the way to speak about a lady.

Kenny: (She’s not a lady, she’s evil! EVIL I TELL YOU, EVIL!)

Miki: (To Kathleen) And you young lady….

Kenny: (SHE’S EVIL I TELL YOU!)

Miki: If you could not do that I’d appreciate it.

{After a few seconds, Kathleen lets go. Kenny, after some stern talking to by Utena, let’s go of her leg as well.}

Mr. Garrison: Alrighty then. {Takes out a piece of paper.} Cartman, you are with Miki, who ever the Hell he is. Cartman, raise your stupid little hand so the bastard can find you.

{Cartman does so. Miki walks over to him.}

Mr. Garrison: Ok, Kenny, you’re with Juri, Stan, you’re with Nanami, Kyle, you’re with Wakaba, Wendy is with Anthy, Kathleen had Touga, Philip had Utena, Terrance is with Sonoda, Bebe is with….(Mr. Garrison goes on. The Utena characters are now paired up with their SP characters.)

{Cut to:}
{Utena and Anthy’s dorm room. Utena, Anthy, Pip and Wendy are sitting around a table, having tea.}

Utena: It’s strange that they didn’t put the boys with the boys and the girls with the girls.

Pip: Yes, but our school is known for doing strange things like this.

Utena: Really?

Wendy: Yeah, in fact, our whole town almost always has some screwed up thing happening in it.

{ChuChu suddenly jumps up on the table. Wendy screams and falls back. Pip just looks at it.}

Anthy: I’m sorry, I didn’t introduce you. This is my friends, ChuChu.

ChuChu: Chu-Chu!

{ChuChu goes over to eat something or other. Wendy sits up again.}

Wendy: Your…friend?

Anthy: Yes.

ChuChu: Chu-Chu!

Pip: (slightly nervous) This is, uh, really a lovely school.

Anthy: Yes, it is very lovely.

Wendy: Was that a garden I saw when we where walking along?

Utena: Yes, the rose garden. It’s always very beautiful.

Pip: There are a lot of roses around the school, I’ve noticed.

Wendy: Me too. Is there a reason for that, or did the person who made the school a big rose fan?

Anthy: Nobody knows.

Wendy: Oh.

{Insert uncomfortable silence here.}

Pip: (light chuckle) The funny thing is, the roses around the school remind me of…{suddenly stops}

Utena: Remind you of what Philip?

Pip: Well, I have a ring I got when I was younger. It slightly resembles the roses that are around the school.

Utena: Really?

Pip: Yes. {He takes a chain from around his neck, on the end is a ring. He looks at it.} An old friend of my mother gave it to me.

{Wendy looks at the ring}

Wendy: It’s pretty.

{Utena looks at the ring. A spinning blue rose apears in the corner of the screen. We can see it is the rose seal. Utena gets a shocked look on her face, then hides it. The rose disapears, the screen goes back to normal view. A bell chimes 10 times.}

Anthy: It is late, Ms. Utena.

Utena: Your right Anthy, let’s all go to bed. You two can have the beds, Anthy and I can sleep on the floor.

Pip: Oh no, I do not wish to put you out like that.

Wendy: Yeah, after all, they’re your beds.

Anthy: But you are our guests. We insist.

Pip: You’re sure we’re not putting you out?

Utena: It’s fine.

Wendy: Alright, if you insist.

{The four get ready for bed. Wendy sleeps on the top bed, Pip takes the bottom. Utena and Anthy are on the floor. Anthy turns the light out. We can still slightly see Utena sitting up, obviously lost in thought, looking at her hand with the rose seal on it. She finally lies down.}

{The screen fades out. We see a red rose background, and Japanese words on the screen. Underneath it says "La Gamin Revolutionnaire" {This usually says "La Fillette Revolutionnaire", Fillette meaning "little girl" according to my friend who takes French. She said Gamin was boy, so I changed little girl to boy, because for the title Girl Utena was changed to Boy Pip. If it’s grammatically wrong or just plain makes no sense in French please don’t kill me, I take Spanish.}
