Tears of Pearls
By me, Wackogirl

Once again, notes (funny, I never felt the need to put in notes before I started reading fanfic by GenoN64, it’s all her fault, go blame it on her!)

1. Some of the stuff in this is based on South Park Town Report: 2005 by Adam Carolla.
2. The future kids & Estella are the property of Pip's Sister at The #1 Pip Shrine.
3. Tina is the property of Cartman's Girl.
4. Erica is the property of Geno N64.
5. There is a real reason the new girl has a jacket with hood like Sean's. I didn't do that just to have her be a female clone of Sean. She won't be wearing it throughout the whole fanfic.
6. Characters:
Kathleen: Is now much nice then she was as a child. She is a sort of "cool" mother-type. She lets Matt and Nicole curse (only if they have a good reason to) and has them call her Kath. She now wears a light blue shirt and black jeans. Her hair is now it's natural brown color, and she has taken out her eyebrow peircing. She is a computer programer.
Matt: Kathleen's eldest child, 14 years old, with a somewhat "down" view of life. Hate's just about everyone, excluding his sisters and mother. He wears a black t-shirt that says "I am the evil twin" on it, along with blue jeans. His hair is dyed blue.
Nicole: Kathleen's middle child, the responsible one of the three. While she can be shy, she is often friendly and outgoing. She wears a dark pink dress with a star in the middle under her silver jacket, she has blonde hair.
Eve: Kathleen's youngest child, just over 5 years old. She has plans to take over the world with a girl from her old Pre-k and kindergarten classes. She wears a light pink dress with a smily face on it. Her hair is dark brown and up in two pony-tails on the side of her head.
7. There’s a story that goes before this, in the kid’s teen’s, but it’s not done yet. The only things really is that Kathleen starts dating Kevin, and that Kathleen ans Wendy start to hang out with Kevin and his friend Fred alot.
8. I wasn't sure who to make Terrance's wife/Alphonse's mom, so I made it the red haired girl (Her name is Heather in this.) But that really isn't too important to the story.

Kevin sat in the driver's seat of the old Cadillac, the engine running, his foot above the accelerator, waiting. The car was parked right in front of the South Park Bank. Loud hard-core music poured out of the CD player. They had planned everything out before hand, but he was still nervous. Feeling the adrenaline pumping threw his veins, Kevin began to drum his fingers on the steering wheel. He waited until...

"GO!"

His foot centimeters above the pedal, Kevin waited until the two had jumped into the car, then pushed down, driving the car away as fast as he could. The person next to him laughed, holding a sack to its self. The figure was dressed all in black: a ski mask and sunglasses, baggy shirt, pants, and gloves. The person behind the figure wore the same. The figure lifted its hand up to pull off the ski mask. When it was off, the figure shook its head, long purple hair falling back over its shoulders. Kevin leaned over and kissed the figure on the cheek.

"Great job Kath." He said, putting his eyes back on the road. "You too." He said, looking back at the other person. The other person also pulled of its ski mask. This time, long black hair fell out.

"Thanks Kev." Wendy smiled. She never had imagined herself doing this. But things had gotten hard after her parent's divorce. Her mother never had time for her, and money was hard to come by. Her thoughts traveled to Stan, but only until she felt a pair of arms around her.

"Great goin babe. They'll be lookin for two guys for the next three weeks." Fred said, kissing her cheek. Wendy was proud of herself. She was a part of the gang, but had everyone, including Stan, fooled. If they knew...Wendy stopped herself. They would never know. Never.

Alison sat up in bed suddenly, startled by her dream. She leaned over, and wrote down the name Kath. Going over the dream in her heard so as she would not forget it, she lay down and went back to sleep.

"Any of you know of a girl named Kath?"

"No, does she go to this school?"

"I don't know." Alison signed. So far, no one had even heard of the girl she had dreamt about. The girl did look familiar, like she had seen her somewhere a long time ago...

"Wait, it does sound familiar now." Felicity said, looking up from the book she was reading for her English homework. "I remember my father mention someone named Kath, but my mother said "remember" and he dropped the subject & never said it again. Why?"

"I had this really weird dream last night. Two guys and two girls robbed the South Park Bank, and one of them called one of the girls Kath. It was probably from watching that cops movie." Alison said. She then laughed to herself. "The funny thing was, the other girl kinda looked like my mom, from an old picture I saw of her."

Sean looked down nervously. His dad had mentioned a Kath once. Sean had drawn a new picture. It was of a tall girl with long purple hair and a pierced eyebrow. He wasn't sure where it came from, he had never seen the girl before, but it seamed right for some reason. When his father saw it, he had remarked "My god, it fucking looks just like Kath before..." but he had stopped himself. Sean kept quiet. If no one talked about her, either Kath really didn't exist, or there was a reason no one mentioned her. He also could have sworn he'd seen that girl once before, if only he could remember...

"Hey Felicity, why are you doing your homework now? You never not have your homework done." Robert's loud voice woke Sean up from his almost trance-like state.

"Yes, I know, but I forgot to do it yesterday. My mother had off from work and she took me out for the day." Felicity wrote for a moment longer, then closed her workbook. "And now I'm done."

Everyone sat in silence for a few minutes. School wouldn't start for ten minutes and everyone was looking for something to talk about until class started and they could make fun of Mr. Garrison. Alison was the one to finally speak up.

"So, have you guys heard about the new girl?" She asked them all.

"Yeah," Joseph relied, "I heard she's one of those bad kids. You know, the one's that steal stuff and do drugs all day."

"From the way I heard it, her mother was like that." Felicity said. "Supposedly she grew up in South Park but left one day and was never heard from again."

"You mean like Tina?" Alison asked her.

"Yes, but Tina did return." Felicity answered her, "And she did tell our parents that she was leaving, so they had some idea. From what I've heard of this girl, everyone woke up one day and she was gone."

Everyone sat silently for the next few moments. Sean sighed. This whole Kath thing was going to bother him until he found out who she was.

"Excuse me?"

Sean looked up in the direction of the strange new voice. A girl about his age stood in front of him. She wore a silver jacket with a hood, and a skirt (Possibly a dress, he couldn't tell with the jacket on) on under it. This girl also had the most incredible bright green eyes Sean had ever seen.

"Um...are you in Mr. Garrison's class?" She asked him. Sean could hear in her voice that she was nervous.

"Yeah. Why do you wanna know?" Alison stood up, walked over to the girl and then began to look her up and down.

"I just moved here and I'm in Mr. Garrison's..." The bell interrupted the girl before she could finish. The others gathered their things and started to walk inside. The girl followed.

"Listen, I should warn you, Mr. Garrison is weird. Not cool weird, but weird weird." Joseph said to her as she walked into the building.

"Yeah, I've heard that." The girl answered. She looked over at Sean. "I'm Nicole."

"Sean." He said. "And these are Alison, Felicity, Robert and Joseph." As he said each person's name, Sean pointed to them.

"Hey. Man it's warmer in here." She said to no one in general and took off her hood. Nicole had short blonde hair, but Sean didn't even seam to notice it. He couldn't take his eyes off her. Sean did always have a 'thing' for pretty eyes (On girls, that is). After a moment Sean finally realized what he was doing and decided to pay attention to where he was going. Unfortunately, this wasn't until after he ran into Chef, quite literally.

"Hello there children."

"Hey Chef."

"Oh, you must be the new girl." Chef said to Nicole.

"Yes. Am I to assume you are the school chef?" Chef laughed quickly.

"Yes I am children. Welcome to South Park Elementary. And don't act so formal, people will think you're up to something. Well, I have lunches to make. Bye children."

"Bye Chef." They all called after him.

The Chef incident wasn't the first time Sean was caught not paying attention. When the group had reached Mr. Garrison's classroom, he had also missed the door by about two feet, instead walking into a wall nearby. Joseph sighed. Another good man had aperantly been lost to a female.

"Now class, settle down. We have a new student here. Everyone say hello to Matt. I know you'll all be kind to him and treat him as you do all your old friends." Matt wanted nothing more then to get out of this hellhole. He was used to the city; the bright lights, the constant noise, the freakish looking students. These kids were so normal they were almost weird. "Why don't you sit over next to Katie. Katie, raise your hand." A girl dark hair in the back raised her hand with out even looking up at him. Matt walked back and sat in the desk next to her.

"Now Matt, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself?" The teacher asked him. Matt hated these kinds of teacher, they tried to "connect" with the students.

"I'm Matt, I'm from the city, and I think this town sucks." The other students laughed at this. Matt smirked to himself. He could see the teacher trying not to show he was upset by what Matt had just said.

"Oh really? What city are you from?"

"New York."

"He was one of those freaks who stands in the road and warns us all that Jesus is coming!" Someone from the front of the room said this. Even Matt couldn't keep from smiling. The teacher once again tried not to react.

"Well, Matt, tell us about your family."

"My sis is a quiet freak, and my little sis plans to take over the world by her eight birthday and my mom had me when she was 16." The rest of the class was taken back. Matt was shocked for a second himself, then he remembered. He wasn't in the city anymore. Teen pregnancies probably weren't a normal thing here. In the city, people seemed amazed him mom got to 16 before having him. Then again, just about everything in this damn town was fucked-up.

"Well, um, as we were doing before you came here Matt, there are three main things that make up atoms, the proton, neutron and the elec..."The teacher went on. Matt could feel the other student's eye's burning holes in him, and could hear their whispers. He sunk down in his seat. Suddenly, a piece of paper was thrown on his desk. He opened it:

New Kid,
Man, just how big a whore was your mom?

Matt crumpled up the paper and threw it over his shoulder. The teacher didn't notice.

Nicole could tell her mother was nervous. She was playing with the two rings on her finger. Her mother had done the same thing in the hours before her meeting with the judge to find out if she could keep her and Matt. Placing her hand on her mother's, Nicole gave her mother a reassuring smile.

Kathleen smiled down at her daughter. Nicole had always been the reliable one. Matt wasn't expected to be, for he did not have the luxury of a proper up bringing. Squeezing Eve's hand tighter, Kathleen rang the doorbell.

Heather looked out her front window. She saw a woman standing with two children. She opened the door.

"Hello?"

"Yes, I was wondering if this was the Maphesto residence?" The woman asked her.

"Yes, my husbands name is Maphesto."

"I was wondering if I may speak with him."

"Of course." Heather answered them." Come in." she added while opening the door wider for them. The two walked in. Nicole took Eve's hand from her mother.

"Terrance! There's someone here to see you!" Heather called to her husband. Nicole took a seat on the near-by couch. Kathleen stood, still rolling the rings around on her finger.

After only a few moments, Terrance appeared with Alphonse right in tow. Alphonse, however, stopped when he noticed Nicole.

"What are you doing here?" He asked her.

"I am here with my mother. What are you doing here?"

"I live here you dumb-ass dyke!" Alphonse replied, then proceeded to give Nicole the bird. This angered Heather.

"Alphonse Maphesto Jr. that was uncalled for!"

"What? She is! I mean, well...just look at her!"

"Like you can talk you asshole." Nicole followed his example and flipped him the bird as well. She then noticed her mothers glare. "But Kath, he spent all day hanging around with some red head spaz tormenting me!"

The four went on like that for a few more moments. Eve looked around the room. She noticed Terrance. Getting up off the couch, she walked over to him.

"Hey, mister, you know what?" She asked him.

"What?"

"I'm gonna take over the world one day. Me and Jess, uh huh, 'cause she said that the world is stinky, and when we control it it'll be a lot better. First, we're gonna take over Washington PB and make it so that little kids can do whatever they want, 'cause they can only do what they want in Alaska, and Kath won't take us to Alaska, so we're gonna have to make the whole world like that..." Eve stopped for a breath.

"Aren't you cute. And what's your name little girl?"

"Eve, but that doesn't matter, 'cause when me and Jess take over the world we're gonna make it so everyone's name is Bob so you can never forget anyone's name..."

"Eve. Didn't we know an Eve once?"

"I don't know, I'm only five! And that’s why we’re gonna change everyone’s name, so that that’ll neva happen again, ‘cause when everyone has different names you forget them a lot, and that’s no fun ‘cause you could call someone by the wrong name, and they’d get all mad, but if everyone name was Bob they’d NEVA be called the wrong name. Jess picked Bob ‘cause she said it’s a cool name, but I wasn’t so sure ‘cause I kinda like the name Princes, but Jess said that’s a dog’s name and people don’t like to be called dog’s names…"

"So, Kath, it’s really you." Terrance sat in the old family armchair. Heather was in the chair next to him. Alphonse sat on the floor, across from Nicole. They were competing. Nicole had won at mercy, and Alphonse had won the first non-blinking staring contest. They were now on to the non-laughing contest.

"No, I’m really a pawn sent by Kathleen to trick you." The others stared at her. "It was a joke." They chuckled slightly. Kathleen sat on the couch, Eve next to her. Eve wanted nothing more then to talk to the "nice man" some more. She instead occupied herself by looking through the comic her mother had given her.

"So, Kath, just what did happen to you all those years ago? I mean, we came to school and they told us you had run away, and to forget about you."

"Did they really Heather? Funny, I told the school I was returning to New York. I guess they didn’t understand." Kathleen paused. "I couldn’t live with what had happened. I wanted to return to my mother and brother. When I got there, my mother was dead, and my brother was in jail. It was his fifth time. Drug dealing. I guess the money was too tempting for him to stop."

A quiet giggle then emerged from where Nicole and Alphonse were sitting. Nicole had lost the staring match. She challenged him to best two out of three, and they began again.

"Why did you leave Kath?" Terrance knew he was asking a lot of questions, but he was curious.

"I found out I was pregnant." Terrance and Heather were shocked.

"You? Kathleen, the one who said she’d never have sex with out protection, no matter what?" Heather was slightly upset by the thought that her friend would have done something like that.

"You’re right, I said that, and I stood by it. I was actually a virgin until that night at Fred’s party."

"Yeah, what happened to you there? We didn’t see you all night."

"Well, I met this guy, Rob, and we talked for a while. I went out to the bathroom, then came back. He offered me a drink, I wasn’t thinking, so I took it. It had a slightly bitter taste, I figured it was nothing…." Kathleen paused. "I began to feel sorts drunk, I ignored it. I passed out. When I woke up…" Kathleen swallowed hard. "When I woke up, I was in the guest room, my clothes were all over the room. Rob had already left. I gathered my clothes and left."

"You didn’t tell anyone?"

"No, I thought it was my fault. I knew what had happened, but I figured that I should’ve known better then to take the drink he gave me. I was so sure it was my fault. I tried to forget it but I…I couldn’t. I started to notice things. I had morning sickness, I was always really hot, and I had skipped a few periods. I didn’t even bother with a pregnancy test; I knew what the answer would be. Kevin was the only one I told, I figured he’d help me no matter what ‘cause he loved me, and he did. He helped me rob the South Park bank, and I left for New York the next day."

"That was you?!"

"Yes, I needed the money. It isn’t cheap to get from Colorado to New York." It was the truth, even if it wasn't the whole truth.

"So, what did you do after you left?"

"Well, I first looked for my old family, my mother and brother…"

Mr. G. is so gay he screws Mr. Hat every night.

-Monkey

Well duh.

-Studmuffin

You guys, I found this really cool book, it tells about dimensions and stuff, and how their really could be other being around us, but we can’t see them because we can only see in three dimensions, and these aliens live in these other dimensions that we can’t see! But if they can see our three dimensions as well as theirs, they could be watching us at all times and we wouldn’t even realize it…

Godamnit man, what are you, a hippie? Screw aliens, they ain't real. T & P rulled last night!

-Studmuffin

Sure as Hell did. So, Joseph, how's your little "girlfriend"?

She's not my little "girlfriend" you asshole, and for the last damn time I don't like her or anything. I mean, God! I talk to her everyone in a while, she's kinda cool, whats wrong with that?

-Wisper

Can you believe the guys started a notebook too?! What copy-cats. Oh well, it was out idea first, so we are still the masters at it. So, what about the new girl? You hear about her mom? Oh well, she’s ok, I guess. I mean, hey, she liked T & P, and she makes fun of Mr. G, so she can’t be all bad. Oh yeah, my mom’s taking me to the movies on Friday night, can you come? She’s gonna take me to go see A Winter Romance. I know, chick movie, but that really hot dude’s in it. I can’t wait. Oh yeah, are your parents making you go to the runion too?

Alison,
Sure, I can go, but can your mom drive me?
Oh yeah, about Nicole’s mom, I heard this from Tweek Jr., who heard it form Alphonse, it turns out her mom really isn’t a whore, but was raped by some dude at a party who then tried to kill her. Just think Alison, something like this happened in our town! How cool is that? I mean, something that would be on the news happened in South Park! Maybe this town doesn’t suck so much after all. And yea, my mom wants to go. My dad's bitching. I told him that if I have to suffer, so should he. Sounds like fun, don't it? (Please not the sarcasm in that statment)

Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny sat, in that order, at the counter of Marty’s bar. They met there every Thursday night. On accession, if Ike was free, he would come by too. Tonight he had to stay and help with the sets on The New Terrance and Philip. As the bells on the front door chimed, the four looked over to see who was coming in. A boy, who looked about 17, walked strait up to the counter.

"A shot of rum." He said to the bartender, Marty. Marty looked at him.

"You got an ID kid?" He asked. The kid produced one, and handed it to Marty.

"I hope you didn’t pay too much for this kid. Now get you ass out of here before I gotta call the cops." The kid did as he was told. Kyle laughed.

"Third one this month. I wonder who’s selling’em?"

"Who knows." Stan replied. "So, you guys going to the reunion?"

"I don’t get it, a twelve year reunion? Most places have ten and fifteen year reunion, we have twelve."

"Kyle, this is South Park. Nothing here is normal here. Or did you forget that?"

"No, I just thought it was funny." They were all silent for a moment. "So, are you guys going?"

"Who else is going?" Cartman asked him, after finally stopping his eating of the bar counter pretzels.

"Well, I know Wendy wants to go, mainly because Bebe and Heather will be going. That means Craig and Terrance will probably go too. Tweek’ll probably show up simply because they offering free coffee. As for everyone else I have no idea." Stan sighed. "Of course, because Wendy wants to go, I’ll have to go."

"Dude, Stan, you can’t let a woman boss you around. You should be like ‘AH! Woman! I am not gonna do this just because you want to! ‘Cause you are only a woman, and I am man, so hear me roar! And...And…’" Cartman finally noticed the others looking at him. "What? I’m just saying." The others sighed.

"How about we all go? I mean, we get to go out for a night, they kids won’t be able to bother us, they get their own room and we can bug people. Plus, it’ll shut the girls up about wanting us to go."

"That’s a good idea Kyle."

"Whoa man, the red monkey’s are back." The other’s once again sighed. Poor Kenny. So much potential thrown out the window by his constant need for booze.

"So we’re all gonna go, right?" Kyle asked the others. They all nodded. After another round of beers was ordered, they went on talking.

…And so, I wonder just why Kath wanted us to return here. None of us are really welcome. Matt has been threatened numerous times, I have yet to make a real friend (Well, I'm not sure what the Hell Sean would count as), and Eve, well, most kids her age don’t understand what hate really is; she is having no problem. Kath took us to visit her old house and her "brother" as she called him. It was, in fact, a rundown, God forsaken place in this town’s Ghetto. Her "brother", Kenny she called him, is nothing but a drunk, and his wife could care less. And Sean, (poor kid)is forced to live with this every day. Matt thinks I like him. Asshole. What, I can’t have a sorta-friend who’s not female? He’s an artist too, but in painting, not music. Speaking of music, I’m not sure why, but I’ve been really inspired lately. Can't explain it, maybe it's the whole "Piss-ant white bred mountain town" thing that's going on here.

Kath’s making us go to her High School reunion. Eve’s happy because she’ll get to stay with the older kids, Matt’s bitching about it as usual. Sean said Joseph’s working on a plan to wreck the reunion. Actually, I can’t wait to see what it is, I heard part of the plan while they were in front of me on the lunch line today, all I found out was they're planning on using stink bombs. Ah, males...

To be continued…..
