What's New?

In our minds, we received thousands of emails objecting to the September 30, 2003 proclamation of George W Bush as our candidate for U.S. president for 2004.  These astute readers demanded an explanation given our past statements indicating he leads the U.S. using the rationale and deductive reasoning common among the society members possessing four or fewer years of age.
Due to these inquiries, we launched an investigation into the voting process.  As it turns out, no Looney Party member present at the meeting actually voted—they were all engaged in—er—other business at the time.  What is interesting to note is that a certain free world leader is reported to have been in the area at the time of The Looney Party meeting.
The Looney Party has, however, decided to stick with its announcement and retain the aforementioned individual as the candidate.  Since no Looney Party candidate has ever been elected to anything, we don’t see this as a problem.  Rather, we view the situation as a favor to the Americans all and mankind.  We are quite confident that our selfless act shall lead to future civilizations building mile-high statues in gratitude.
