Extract from his biography:

... . We were all going to have brilliant careers as Professional actors. We would taste stardom. We would become rich and famous. We were assured that our future would be good. Oh yes! There was a lot of hope and anticipation in the air that afternoon.

A few minutes earlier we'd been given our Diploma's and a pep talk from the Principal ... The man at the top bristled with his customary energetic, managerial attitude but in the middle of his wry, qualified chat to us, he held up a copy Diploma and told us:

'This my friends, is worthless … and I wish each of you good luck …'

A quote I could never forget, ever!
