November 10th PAUL VAN DYK!!!!
I hadn´t danced that much in my life before, everything was not just fine but PERFECT, the place, the organization and obviously Papi PVD was great as usual
He opened at 12:00 pm with LOLO-WHY (wunderwar) then he played also Crush, My world, Time of our lives, We are alive and almost at the end of hos gig he played For an Angel.
Now that He is the #1 DJ he will have loadsa gigs around the world, as I said before he never had to be recognized as #1 by DJ mag or "América", I can say México Really loves him, He´s got this very special vibe which we like. I still remember the first I saw him back on 1999 and I feel the same way!! HE will always be my number 1 for me although his set was not the best I´ve ever heard he means a lot to me (finally he got me into this), this was my 8th time on pvd´s gig and there is no doubt there will be more on the list, I could get some pix which I will try to upload later on!!! Even if, obviously, the lyrics are meant to illustrate the relation between two people, the words could also be used to describe Paul’s new single and anticipate his new album (scheduled for autumn 2003). "Nothing But You“ delivers highly intensive music in perfect balance of power and emotion. If you play this single, you feel like embracing the essence of today’s dance music”.
REFLECTIONS
PVD´s new album It´s quite different from what we are used to listen from him, obviously there is a pvd touch in every song, I belive that the most important thing is being real and honest to yourself as a producer It´s easy to see how pvd´s muzik has changed during all this years I´ve been listening to him.
It´s always good to be one step forward that will keep you at the top, In my opinion paul´s style has changed a lot and its not that easy to assimilate.
to the only song I did not like at all was "knowledge", but in the other hand i was impressed by the fusion that Van dyk made with Vega 4 in "time of our lives", I recommend songs like: "time of our lives", "Buenaventura", "Kaleidoscope", "Spellbound" and my favorite one "Connected".

He has been an inspiration since first time I listened to him back in 1998, Through him I found the biggest pasion in my life : MUZIK.
I must confes Muzik most of the times make me feel melancholic like when I listened to the
Gatecrasher´s Sub-Aqua, Paul Oakenfold´s tranceport or amazing PVD Vorsprung Dyk technik, those years rocked! they were full of amazing electronic music,
when the LP was starting to get bigger and if you didn´t live in Germany you
could barely find someone who knew about it, nowadays there is a LP in my city, it is
everywhere!! but not in the main place so whats the sense of it??
I do beleive that it´s the price you have to pay when something becames
so famous, anyway I guess there is because things always have an end so new and better things can keep coming.
Paul van dyk´s Music wont ever have an end for me! ;P.
I must confess, when it´s about Van Dyk I really feel like going to the party, because he is magic, and his muzik means a lot in my life i dont consider myself as a fan, i just enjoy the music he makes because it can really cheer me up. Thank you PVD!!!

Paul Van Dyk is from Germany and he made great things with visions of shiva and cosmic baby ,in the last months he made a great mix for faithless the song is : "bring back to my family",he´s been djing since 7 years ago and he has made 3 albums so far and a copilation named : "Vorsprung dyk technik" which contains the most important songs he has mixed in the last 7 years , the new album is coming for this summer 2000 =).
THE DAY I SAW HIM (14-08-99)
oh mein got! *l* i have no words to describe the vibe i felt yesterday while he was djing :))) , yesterday August 14th i saw him finally!
he was at 40-50 cm of me!! i still cant belive it.
I must confess that my friends and I almost left the place without seeing him dj , since he started djing at 3:35 am, and my friends and i arrived to the club at 9:00 pm so as u might be thinkin´ we were kinda desperated to see him djing after 6 hours, but finally there he was!!!after we had listened to 4 djs and been kinda sleepy, he started to play and everybody woke up!!! he did a great job :-).I cant belive the huge diference i noticed between pvd and the djs who were playing before him ... HE IS THE BEST!:).
I couldnt stop looking at him 0=),i danced before he arrived because by that time there was enough of space, because when he came over, all the ppl went crazy and i couldnt even move my arms, I tried to learn some stuff about the way he spinns... j/k ;P *s* yeah right.
SECOND TIME I SAW HIM (11-11-00)
So as u can see it was all a mess (talking about the gig´s info and advertising) they changed da place like 3 times but finally he played @ toreo 4 caminos, I finally decided to go *l* and this time was huge, i mean the first time i saw him it was like *g* he is cute and he spinns really good, but YESTERDAY!!!!!!!damn he almost made me cry (remember ana?*l*) he really rocked!! he is great, he is the best dj EVER seen!!!!i can´t say anything else for the moment... any comments ana??*OFF*.
LATEST REVIEW (May 10th 2003)
Well... I dont know where to start, he was absolutely wonderful!!!there is no doubt he is the best DJ!!!!, the acoustic of the place wasn´t good at all, because it used to be a Cinema and is not excactly a place for a gig, but it was O.K. Paul started playing at 12:20 after 4 Dj´s.
Everybody was screaming PAUL´s name! so the DJ in turn did not know exactly what to do, he just played a few minutes more and had to leave the stage.

all his set was amazing but, he played a pair of songs that just put me on a natural high!.

I´ve seen him 6 times, 5 times in México (in my city) and one at his home(Berlin@Love parade), and I hope I can catch him up on his next NY Gig at Central Park.
Well talking about djs ,ive seen so many djs so far , but the most important ones have been PVD, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha , BT, Deep dish, Dave Seaman, Carl cox, Moby, Franki knuckles,etc. and i realised the atmosphere and the ppl have a lot to do with a "rave" , cus the dj can be extremly good but if he is not with the right ppl and/or in the right place ,it can turned really bad , im sorry that i dont have anypix about the leates raves ive been , but i´ll try to take more pix and put ´em here for u.
