Physicist/Statistician - originally from Australia, Peter Axon was once a true skeptic who spoke his mind, even if he rubbes you the wrong way. Since joining the O.S.I.R. Axon now finds himself grappling with new areas of hyper-dimensional physics involving out right apparitions and kinetic activity. Although Axon talk of the future doesn't always include the O.S.I.R., his fascination with the cases and the unque working environment keep him wedded to the group.

Passed over as Case Manager due to the hiring of Praeger, Peter Axon is torn between staying with his colleagues at the O.S.I.R. or accepting a lucrative offer from private industry. His relationship with Praeger, is full of friction, but also governed by a grudging respect. Axon's work is his life and as determined as Praeger to find scientific solutions to terrifying phenomena. A small town boy who worked his way through MIT, Axon's zeal for the truth can make him cross the line in an investigation. Sometimes he tests relationships with team members as he continues to try to prove himself Case Manager material.

A veteran television actor, Barclay Hope has had starring roles in the series Hidden Room, The Hitchhiker and Alfred Hitchcock Presents? Taking the Falls, E.N.G and Ready or Not. Hope also appeared in the hit children's series Goosebumps, in the movie Dead Silence, The Garbage Picking, Field Goal Kicking Philadelphia Phenomenon.

On stage, Hope has had roles in productions of The Heidi Chronicles at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre and the Manitoba Theatre Centre. He also appeared in Theatre Direct's Getting Wrecked and the Stratford Festival's Death of a Salesman and The Country Wife.

A devoted family man and admitted sports nut whose activities include running and playing hockey on the Psi Factor hockey team. Hope lives in Toronto with his wife, actress Lindsay Collins and their three children.
