Smooth and exacting Claire Davison is right at home cutting open a dead body and hunting for every hidden lead in a case. She can be a cool and calculating investigator, but underneath her professional exterior she's passionate and empathetic: a humanist in a scientist's lab coat. A crack pathologist by training, Davison brings a critical eye to investigations.

Soo Garay was born and raised in Toronto by Hungarian refugee parents who fled their homeland during the 1956 revolution. She is fluent in Hungarian and spent her childhood and teens as a nationally ranked competitive swimmer. When not on location, Garay resides in Toronto.

Garay began her acting career working extensively in theatre and has made over 20 appearances with major Canadian companies in Toronto and on tour across the country. She has appeared in Jacob the Liar, Shot Through the Heart, Blues Brothers 2000, Man in My Microwave, The Mao Lounge and Parade, Storm of the Century, The Fall. Her guest star roles in TV series include Forever Knight.
