Ryan and Gillian where still kissing when Edmund walked through the
door with Eugenia right behind him.
"Oh My, What have we here?" Eugenia said entering the room.
"Grandmama, we where just, we um." Gillian looked over at Ryan to gethis help.
"Duchess, The two of us... we er.."
Eugenia smiled. You don't have to explain to me.
"Listen Edmund, would it be all right if I take this beautiful princess
out tonight. I promise to keep a very close eye on her." Ryan askedEdmund.
"That would be fine Ryan." Eugenia told him silencing Edmund with alook.
"I'll go get ready." Gillian told him, more excited then she had been
in days. "Will you wait here?"
"Yes, Take as long as you want." Ryan told her.
After Gillian had left the room Edmund and Eugenia turned to him.
"You care to explain this?" Edmund asked him.
"Explain what?"
"Well let's see, you divorce Gillian, tell her she's better off without
you, and avoid her at all costs and now I walk in and youre kissing
her in my living room." Edmund said.
"Oh Edmund, he loves her that's all that matters." As she spoke Eugenia
sat beside Ryan.
"Edmund, when she nearly died I realized how much I needed her. These
last five months I've been an idiot. But now, I know and she knows how
much I love her." Ryan told Edmund.
"I'm ready." Gillian announced walking in to the room. She was only
wearing jeans, a white shirt and a Jean jacket but to him, she lookedstunning.
"Okay princess, lets go. "Ryan said leading her out of the house.
