(It’s the middle of November, Gillian and Jake had a relationship but it only lasted two months. They now remain friends. Gillian moved back in to Wildwind. Nothing happened with Ryan and Hayley; Hayley is officially married to Mateo. Ryan and Gillian are still awkward when they are around each other but the obviously still love each other.)
“So why did you invite me here anyway?” Gillian Andrassy asked her friend Hayley Santos as the two of them sat in a café at the mall. “Well, I just wanted to make sure you are doing okay after what happened with Jake.” Hayley answered her sipping her coffee.
“Hayley, I’ve already told you I’m fine like a million times.” Gillian smiled over Hayley’s concern. “And I also told you it was a mutual decision, so why would I be upset?”
“So your sure your fine?” Hayley asked once more. “Yes! Anyway, I have a better idea stay here with me and we can shop for a while.” Suggested Gillian.
“I wish I could but It’s Friday night and well S.O.S. gets really busy at about 8:00.” Hayley looked at her watch and jumped up when she realized it was already 7:30. “Shoot, I’m sorry, but I’ve got to get going.”
“That’s fine Hayley, I’ll come by the club later.”
After telling Hayley to drive carefully, Gillian began her shopping.
~ A couple Hours later ~
“Hey where have you been?” Ryan Lavery greeted Haley as she entered Sounds of Salsa. “Sorry, I had to change. Wow, look at this place it’s only 9:00 and this place is busy.” Hayley remarked joining Ryan behind the bar. “Yeah it sure is. Look at that guy over there.” Ryan pointed at a customer around forty-five who had become louder. “He’s smashed, how may had he had?” she asked him. “I don’t know but I think it’s time I cut him off.” Ryan replied as he made his way over the man.
