Andy was born, Thakur Shiwprashad on June 13, 1986 in Richmond Hill,
NY to Mother Baby, Father Ram and Brother Tony. With his birth Andy
was the wonderful completion to the Shiwprashad family... a beautiful
baby who grew into a handsome man.
His sudden death shattered the hearts of his family & friends who
continue to cope and try to accept the harsh reality. Our Andy took his
last breath in the Caura River while on vacation in Trinidad with his
parents and brother.
Andy's body was returned to New York City where he was buried at Pine
Lawn Cemetery in Long Island, NY and his funeral was one of the largest
with an astounding 300 + in attendance. The type of person Andy strived
to be was reflected in the family and friends who arrived at the funeral
home and cemetery to pay their last respects and offer words of sympathy
for the grieving family.
Andy was only 15 years old when he lost his life and though it was a brief
existence he has left his family & friends with lasting memories.    He had
the ability to make everyone's smile just a little brighter whenever he was
around.   He was our very own class clown…
This site is dedicated to the boy whose life was unfairly cut short. It's
dedicated to the family who must now look for strength and acceptance
and it’s dedicated to the friends who knew and loved Andy.
