The location of all but one of these photos are from
Weymouth Beach looking out to the Manukau Harbour
in the city of Auckland New Zealand.

Well as the story goes. I love mountain biking, but I had a little accident and had a bad break in my arm . So with all this additional free time on my hands I would In the evenings (instead of watching TV) go for long walks around the local beach. I took my camera with me and often there was a spectacular sunset.

Unfortunately these photos don't do the sunsets justice. These small images are pale in comparison to the entire sky been light up. Just watching this is so much more entertaining than TV.

Now winter has come to New Zealand, and my walks are less frequent. Come November I will again be walking along the beach every night, and you will see many more sunset images.

Note: the second to last image is the sunrise over Mt. Ruapehu. Central north island New Zealand.
