Mike and Franco struggle. Mike grabs a broken glass bottle and slashes it at his arm. Franco yelps and runs away. Jen rushed to Mike’s side.
Jen: Mike are you OK?
Mike: Yeah, I’m fine. I wish I knew who that bastard was though.
Jen: Mike let’s forget about it, you have a bride waiting for you.
They leave but Mike still looks behind him to see if he can see the man that attacked him. Franco is hiding beside the house. He is holding his arm.
Franco: That was close. Kate isn’t going to like this.
His cellphone rings.
Franco: Hello? (pause) No he cut me with some glass and got away.
Kate: I don’t care what you do but stop Mike from getting here!
Carrie in Bride Room. Knock on door. It’s Marlena.
Carrie: Marlena, hi.
Marlena: Hi sweetie.
Carrie: Is Mike here yet?
Marlena: No, not yet. He’ll be here. Anxious are you?
Carrie: Well let’s face it, I haven’t had good luck with weddings.
Marlena: You mean Sami.
Carrie: Yeah, but even she can’t spoil this day. In fact she’s probably overjoyed that I’m in love with Mike, because now she’ll think that she can have Austin.
Marlena: If she has her memory back that is.
Inside Mansion Austin, Sami and Lucas
Austin: So Sami, just how long have you had your memory back?
Sami: Not long Austin, I swear! When Jaime came back it sparked a lot of memories and they all came back!
Austin: And why should I believe you? You’ve done everything you can to keep me and Carrie apart, and now you and Lucas both lose. Carrie is with Mike, and I will never ever love you Sami.
Sami: No Austin please don’t say that!
Austin: Just give it up Sami! Game’s over! He looks over and sees Jaime with Will and Eric.
Austin: Excuse me. Austin head over toward Jaime and Eric. Sami is crying.
Lucas: Sami, it’s over for us. We have to move on.
Sami: Oh no we don’t. I will never give up on Austin. Never.
Lucas sighs.
Mike and Jen driving
Jen: Mike, slow down. This isn’t a drag race.
Mike: I don’t want to be late, this is my wedding day to Carrie.
Jen: I know, but be careful.
Franco is driving in a car nearby. He is speeding up to Mike and Jen.
Franco: I’m sorry Mike, but it’s the boss’s orders.
Franco speeds ahead of them and swerves toward them.
Jen: Mike look out!
Mike slams on the brakes and swerves off the road just barely missing a tree.
Kate at the Mansion. She calls Franco.
Franco: Hello?
Kate: Did you do it?
Franco: Mike swerved the car around me. They seem to be OK.
Kate: Is the car drivable?
Sami walks by and hears this, she hides behind the corner and listens.
Franco: Not a scratch on it boss.
Kate: Damn! I can’t let Mike marry Carrie, Franco you have to stop them!
Franco: What do you want me to do?
Kate: I don’t care, just do it! She slams down the phone.
Sami: Kate, Kate. I underestimated you. Having poor Franco deal with not only Bo and Hope, but Mike Horton too?
Kate: Stay out of it Sami.
Sami: You watch it Kate, I won’t hesitate to tell everyone here all about you and your secrets.
Kate: What do you want?
Sami gives her famous smirk look.
Mike and Jen
Mike: Jen are you all right?
Jen: I’m fine. Mike you have to calm yourself down. Let me drive.
Mike: I’m sorry Jen.
Jen: I know you are, now let me drive so I can get us there in one piece OK?
Mike: (laughs) OK.
Franco is watching nearby as they switch places.
Franco: I have to stop them, but how?

Kate and Sami at the Mansion
Kate: What do you want?
Sami: I want you to call Franco, and tell him to leave Mike alone. Or I will spill every single dirty secret I have on you to everyone here, not to mention the newspapers.
Kate: Oh, I hate you. (picks up phone and dials) Franco, forget about it. Just get back here for the wedding. She hangs up.
Kate: I’ll get you for this Sami! Sami just smirks and walks away.
Austin with Eric, Jaime and Will. Austin is holding Will.
Eric: Austin I’m sorry about, you know.
Austin: It’s OK Eric, I blame myself. During the whole charade with Sami I wasn’t there for Carrie, and she turned to Mike. It’s only natural that they developed feelings for each other.
Eric: You’re a good man Austin. He pats him on the shoulder.
Austin: Thanks Eric.
Eric: Listen, I have to go get in my place for the wedding. Jaime, I’ll see you after the wedding.
Jaime: OK They kiss goodbye.
Jaime: Austin, just so you know, I think Sami has her memory back.
Austin: Oh I know she does, I overheard her talking with Lucas. Don’t worry, I know how to handle her. You go out to the wedding, OK?
Jaime: OK Austin. Bye Will.
Sami and Lucas outside the Mansion
Lucas: Sami, what are you up to now?
Sami: Lucas, do you always have to think that I’m up to something?
Lucas: Yes. Listen, I’m tired of this. We broke up Carrie and Austin, but Carrie now loves Mike. I give up.
Sami: (surprised) You’re giving up?
Lucas: Yes and you should too. I need to move on with my life, I’m not going to be the cause of Carrie’s pain anymore. He leaves to go find a seat for the wedding.
Sami: Well, it looks like I’m all alone in my quest for Austin. I’m not going to give up.
Franco walks over to Hope.
Hope: Franco! What happened to your arm?
Franco: It’s nothing Hope, I just cut it on some glass, that’s all.
Hope: Does it hurt?
Franco: Just a little, I’ll be all right.
Mike and Jen rush into the yard.
Hope: You made it!
Mike: just barely, I got attacked by some guy outside the house. I hit him with a broken glass bottle and he got away.
Jen: And we almost got hit by some jerk driving over here. We almost crashed.
Laura: Mike are you all right?
Mike: Mom, I’m fine OK. Let’s get this ceremony started.
John: I’ll go get the bride.
Everyone laughs.
Laura sees Kate sneaking off somewhere. She decides to follow her.
Carrie in Bride Room
She is looking in the mirror.
Carrie: This is it, nothing will go wrong today.
Kate is sneaking up behind her, she has something in her hand. Laura peeks in the door and calls out loudly: Kate! What are you doing?

Carrie in Bride Room
Carrie spins around.
Carrie: Kate!
Kate: I, uh just wanted to apologize for that scene I made earlier. (She is hiding what was in her hand behind her back).
Laura: What’s that you’re hiding?
Kate: Nothing, I’ll be on my way now. She rushes out of the room.
Laura: John’s waiting outside for you.
Carrie: Thanks Laura. They hug.
John: Ready pumpkin?
Carrie: Yes. Let’s go.
Kate inside the Mansion.
Kate: That was too close, stupid Laura. I should have known that she would be watching me. I have to think of something else to stop this wedding!
Outside: The Wedding
All the bridesmaids get ready to walk down the aisle, again. First Hope and Franco, then Jack and Jen. Then Marlena. Then the wedding march begins and everyone stand as a beaming Carrie accompained by John walk down the aisle. Carrie and Mike can not stop smiling at each other. John and Carrie reach the end of the aisle and Carrie takes Mike’s hand as the wedding begins. Mike whispers to in her ear, "You look beautiful."
Inside the Mansion
Kate is frantically trying to figure a way to stop the wedding.
Kate: That’s it! I know exactly how to stop the wedding! She turns around and is face to face with Sami.
Sami: Give it up Kate! Did you think I am stupid? I knew you’d try to stop the wedding. Need I remind you that if everyone hears the info I have on you that your life will be ruined?
Kate: oooh you little witch!
Sami: I believe you’re mistaken Kate. I’m not the bad guy here. I didn’t hire Franco Kelly to break up my Uncle Bo and Hope.
Kate: Oh and you think drugging my son to sleep with you is perfectly alright?
Sami: Kate, Kate. Just a little warning. I’m watching you. and the minute you make one false move, everyone in Salem will know what I have on you!
She smirks and leaves.
The Wedding
Priest: Do you Carrie, take this man to be your husband? To have and to hold, honor and obey, all of the days of your life?
Carrie: (grinning at Mike) I do.
Priest: And do you Mike, take Carrie to be your wife? To have and to hold, honor and obey, all of the days of your life?
Mike: I do.
Priest: Then I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss your bride.
Carrie and Mike kiss passionately and everyone cheers.
Inside the Mansion
Sami walks up behind Kate.
Kate: Sami, what now? Did you come to gloat?
Sami: Now why on earth would I do that Kate? I was actually looking for the nanny, I want to see Will.
Kate: Upstairs. (She sighs).
The Reception
Marlena and John walk up to Carrie and Mike.
Marlena: (to Carrie) Congratulaions honey.
Carrie: Thanks Marlena. She hugs her.
John: I’m happy for you both, may you have all the happiness in the world.
Mike: Thanks John, I hope the same for you and Marlena.
John: Thanks man.
Jaime and Eric walk up.
Eric: Congratualtions sis.
Carrie: Thank you Eric. Jaime, it’s so good to see you again. She hugs her.
Jaime: You too. (to Eric) I think I’m going to go check on Sami.
Eric: OK.
Jaime leaves. John lifts up his wine glass and says "Can I have everyone’s attention please? I like to propose a toast, to Carrie and Mike, may they have a long and happy marriage." Carrie and Mike click glasses and sip.
Sami in the nursery with Will.
Sami: Oh Will, everything is going great. Carrie is married to Mike, and she loves him. Now Austin is free to love me, and be here for you."
Jaime walks outside the room, she pauses and listens.
Sami: I know that Lucas is your father, but Austin is the only father you are ever going to know."
Jaime gasps. "Will is Lucas’s?" She runs away as Sami walks out with Will to go back to the party.
Reception, Carrie and Mike are cutting the cake. Carrie and Mike laugh as they stuff each other’s face with cake. Jaime runs over to Eric and whispers in his ear. He is positively shocked. Sami rejoins the party with Will. "How Do I Live" by Leann Rimes comes on and Carrie and Mike have their first dance as husband and wife.
Eric and Jaime
Eric: Are you sure?
Jaime: I heard it straight from Sami’s mouth. Eric, there’s somethin you need to know, about why I left Salem. I knew that Lucas "loved" Carrie, but when he first came to Salem, I fell for him. And after Sami and Lucas had been exposed, I tried to tell Lucas how I felt, but he rejected me. I had to get away from Salem, so I went to nursing school in Colorado.
Eric: Jaime, it’s all right. I know it must have been hard on you. He hugs her.
Eric: But, we have to do something about this information.
Jaime: We have to confront her. Come on. They walk over to Sami with Will, who is talking to Lucas.
Lucas: Sami, let me hold Will.
Sami: No, I want to hold him.
Lucas: Sami what is wrong with you! Every time I get near Will you get nervous, what it it?
Sami: Nothing Lucas.
Jaime: No Lucas, it is something. I know what Sami’s problem is.
Austin comes out and Sami rushes over to him with Will.
Sami: Austin your son wanted to be with his daddy.
Eric: (loudly) Well Sami then why did you give Will to Austin?
Sami: (laughs) Eric, what a question.
Jaime: Sami don’t play dumb, you know what we’re talking about.
Everyone is starting to stare now, Kate walks out to see what’s going on.
Austin: Eric, Jaime what are you talking about?
Eric: That Will isn’t your son.
Everyone gasps. Lucas immediatly realizes what is going on.
Lucas: Sami?
Sami: (near tears) No, Will is Austin’s son.
Kate: This should be interesting.
Sami: Austin, you have to believe me, Will could only be your son.
Jaime: You’re wrong Sami. I heard you! I know that Will isn’t Austin’s!
Everyone is staring in shock.
Austin: Then who’s Will’s father?
Lucas: I am.

Kate: Lucas?
Sami: No! no it’s not true! It’s not true! (she breaks down in tears).
Lucas: Sami how could you?
Sami: Lucas I…
Lucas: That’s why you went to the hospital that night. You were going to change Will’s blood type. Sami how could you do that?
Sami: (crying) I couldn’t lose Austin, I can’t lose him.
Austin: It’s too late Sami, you’ve lost me.
Sami: No, no don’t say that!
Lucas: You kept me away from my son all of this time!
Austin: Wait, so how did this happen? Lucas?
Lucas: After Sami shot Alan she was getting a lot of grief from some guys at a bar we were at. She was very upset and when we got back to Titan I tried to comfort her and one thing lead to another…I’m sorry Austin, when I asked Sami if she was sure Will was yours she said yes, and I wanted to believe that. I just didn’t think that Sami would keep my son away from me.
Austin: And that’s when I thought I saw you and Carrie together wasn’t it?
Lucas: Yes, I’m so sorry Austin. I’m going upstairs to be with my son.
Everyone is in disbelief at what has just occurred.
Austin: I can’t believe you Sami.
Sami; Austin I…
Austin: Just save it OK Sami? I don’t want to hear it.
Carrie walks up to Sami.
Carrie: And I thought you couldn’t get even more evil! How could you do this!
She grabs her shoulders, "How?"
Mike grabs Carrie, "Carrie, it’s all right." He pulls her away from Sami. Carrie cries in his arms.
Lucas comes back out with Will. Sami sees him and turns away.
Sami: Austin please just let me explain!
Marlena: Honey, come here. Marlena hugs Sami as she cries.
Carrie: I can’t believe this! Mike how could my sister be so devious?
Mike: I don’t know.
Lucas walks up to Carrie.
Lucas: Carrie I want to apologize, for everything I’ve done. I hope you and Mike are very happy together. (He looks at Will) I should have known not to trust Sami. But I wanted to believe that Will was Austin’s.
Carrie: Sami deceived everyone, including you and Will. I think in time I may be able to forgive you, but I need time.
Lucas: I understand.
Jaime and Eric join them.
Eric: I didn’t want to believe that my own twin sister was so evil.
Mike: I don’t think anyone does.
Jaime: I hope now that she can give up on Austin and start over.
Eric: I hope so too.
Sami tries again to talk to Austin.
Sami: Austin just please hear me out.
Kate: Oh come on Sami, give it up. You’ve lost.
Sami straightens herself up.
Sami: If I’m going down then you’re going down with me.
Austin: What are you talking about?
Sami prances around Kate.
Sami: Oh Austin your mother has very many dark secrets.
Kate: (quietly) Sami, don’t.
Austin: My mother is a wonderful person Sami, I don’t want to hear any more of your lies.
Sami walks over to her purse and pulls something out of it.
Sami: Oh Austin unfortunately I’m not lying this time. I have proof.
Carrie: Proof of what?
Sami: Kate it’s time that you are exposed for the hooker you are!

Austin: How dare you call my mother that!
Sami: But it’s true, and I have pictures to prove it! She pulls out a photo of Kate on a magazine cover.
Kate: You bitch!
Everyone is shocked.
Austin: Mom is this true?
Kate: Honey I had to do it to survive, it was during the time I left Curtis. I had no money, I’m not proud of it, but I had to support myself and Lucas.
Lucas: Oh mom.
Kate: I worked so hard to turn my life around, Titan was the best thing that happened to me. I vowed that I would never go back to that life. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want you to hate me, I was ashamed of my past.
Austin: Why would I hate you? You completely changed your life around.
Lucas: I don’t hate you mom, you had to do what you could and you got yourself out of it.
Kate: Oh thank God (she hugs both of her sons)
Franco is getting nervous.
Franco: (in head) I can’t let Hope find out about me and Kate. I have to stop her from finding out. (to Hope) Hope, maybe we should leave.
Sami: Oh no Hope you don’t want to leave. You’d miss all of the fun!
Hope: Franco maybe we should go.
Sami: Oh no Hope stay, listen to what else I know about Kate, and your little friend Franco here.
Austin: Sami why don’t you just give it up?
Carrie: I don’t want to hear any more of your lies. This is my wedding day, I won’t let you ruin it! I won’t!
Mike embraces Carrie and shots Sami a LOOK. Sami shuffles through her pile of photos.
Sami: Hmmm, this one is particulary interesting. Wouldn’t you agree Franco? She holds up a pic of Franco hugging Hope flashing a thumbs up sign to none other than: Kate.
Hope: Franco?
Kate: Sami has nothing, Franco and I are friends through business.
Sami: And quite a business it is.
Franco: I work for Kate yes, at Titan.
Sami: You know better than that Franco, don’t be shy. I have proof to back up everything, Kate hired you to break up my Uncle Bo and Hope, didn’t she?
Kate: She’s lying!
Marlena: Sami, honey why don’t you…
Sami: Which proof do you want? I have a list of phone calls made to Franco’s cell phone, all from Kate. Kate is paying Franco quite a huge salary. Why, he even figures that he can win Hope!
Franco: Those calls were all about Titan business Sami. Don’t believe her, she is lying.
Sami: Am I? I would like to think so, but unfortunately I’m not. Yes Kate, you would go to any extreme to make sure you’re children were happy. So you hired Franco to break up Bo and Hope so that Billie and Bo could be together, didn’t you?
Kate: (shaking her head) No, no
Sami: If neither of you will admit it, then I must do what I have to do. She pulls out a small tape player and presses play.
Kate: "Franco it’s me Kate."
Franco: "Kate everything is working out perfectly. I think Hope may learn to love me."
Kate: "Yes, yes but are you sure Bo is out of the picture?"
Franco: "After what seeing Bo and Billie wed, I think our plan has succeeded well. Hope and Bo are what you say finished."
Sami stops the tape.
Sami: So, Kate, Franco? Are you going to admit it or what?
Kate: All right I admit it!!
