This is after the August 12th episode:
(Mike and Carrie at the beach)
Carrie put her head on Mike, and sighed. “You make me so happy. You are my best friend.”
“Same here” Mike cringed. That really wasn’t what he had wanted to hear right then. He had to tell Carrie what he really felt about her. He stroked her hair. “Carrie, there is something I have to tell you...” He looked down at her. She was asleep...with a smile on her face. She looked so peaceful, he thought. Mike kissed her forehead gently.
Carrie was having a wonderful dream. She and Austin were getting married. But then, Mike came running down the aisle. He kept saying, “Oh Carrie....I love you...I love you..” Strangly enough, she found herself saying the same thing to Mike. She woke up with a strange, warm, feeling that she hadn’t felt in a loong time....love...she was in love with Mike! She looked up at him.....he was asleep...with a troubled look on his handsome face. She moved up and kissed him on the cheek softly.
“mmm...Carrie?” He asked sleepily.
“Mike.” He was so adorable!
“Carrie...where are we? Oh yeah...on the beach.” He sat up and looked at his watch. “Gosh, we have to go. It’s late.” He helped Carrie up. She was grinning ear to ear. “Thinking of Austin?”
“No....actually, I was thinking of you...” Carrie looked at Mike for a reaction.
“Me? Now why would you do that?” Mike asked curiously.
Carrie stood on her tip toes and slowly kissed Mike...
